I contacted DR. Franklin’s office and asked for an appointment to discuss my surgery by him in (May 2020) NOT to be treated again by him. I have been diagnosed with Empty Nose Syndrome (ENS) as the result of his surgery on me. His aggressive surgery has left me in pain 24/7 and is non curable. He removed a large percent of my Inferior Turbinate’s. I also found that he does not treat Empty Nose Syndrome (ENS) anyway. To my surprise I was turned down. I talked with the office manager. The reason for the rejection is because 9 months ago I posted a negative review on this web site. I was told that if I remove the negative review the doctor would see me. I tried to explain that I am over being mad and would think that the doctor would want to review my case to see what went wrong, if anything and to use it for future knowledge. The reason for my request is: He said in an e-mail (from his nurse) that he did NOT remove any tissue or bone. But the surgery report says different. I also had a hard time getting copies of my CT scans from him.
I think this is a good example of not caring about the patient but only caring about his reputation! I do not plan on changing or deleting my original review. . I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM AS A DOCTOR as it appears that when things go wrong he bails out.

Don't bother with this narcissistic individual. I'm convinced that he's only in business for profits. He has no bedside manner. I had severe pain in my ear & when I called to see about getting in that day, he told his staff "He's not a walk in clinic." I WAS an established patient. He let my ear condition linger and it just got worse. He pays a retired ENT to take his after hour calls ALWAYS, so, as a patient you will get passed off to call during business hours. This office doesn't respect your HIPAA privacy either. They recently sent out an email with an individual's name that tested positive for Covid. Trust the negative reviews, we're writing them because we don't want another person to get hurt.

If you are in need of a sinus or nasal operation DO NOT use Dr. Franklin. His operating procedures are too aggressive and NOT the current standard by most ENT doctors. He operated on me in May 2020. I was still having issues in September with many visits in between (where he only remove snot). I had asked if I had a infection, he reluctantly took a swab (I never did get the results. I had also told him that I had the symptoms of Empty Nose Syndrome (ENS) he said I didn’t have it. He really acted like he didn’t know what to do. Two days later I was Schedule for a Allergy test and came in early. I was talking to the nurse and told her what the Dr had acted like and asked if I could see another doctor. Apparently she called the DR and later handed me a name and number and was told to leave. The office manage did the same. I have been to two other doctors I did have and infection and also Dr Franklin’s aggressive operating procedures has left me with EMPTY NOSE SYNDROM which is not fix-able.

My son needed surgery on his very deviated septum. Three to four months after his surgery, his septum was right back where it started and I had to have his surgery redone by another doctor (which btw has been over a year ago and he has not had any problems with that surgery). When I called the office to have the last $250 waived because of the circumstances, they declined. Also, my botox experience with Dr Franklin was not good either. This was before my son's surgery or right after. I have had botox for a couple years elsewhere but decided to have Dr Franklin do it and absolutely nothing happened. I went back and complained and he readministered some of it but not all that I had paid for. He told me I may be immuned but I have had botox 2 times elsewhere with no problems.

I saw Dr.Franklin for the first time 2 weeks ago. I was given an appt date within a few days of calling. That is great for a specialist. He was very nice, and patient with me. My symptoms didn't really make sense medically, but he continued to ask questions and perform tests to get to the root of the problem. I did not feel rushed. I feel he was genuinely concerned. Not once was I offered any other service that did not pertain to my office visit. I will continue to see Dr.Franklin for this and any future problem that may arise. The front desk staff was also very friendly, and had nice smiles on their faces.

I have been going to Dr. Franklin for over a year now and I have never thought him or his staff were anything less than excellent with their knowledge and service as a medical office. I know several people who see him as their doctor as well and speak very highly of him. I can't help but think the prior derogatory comments made are too harsh. There is no way those comments are toward the same doctor Dr. Franklin that I see. Doctors are human and have bad days too. I would highly recommened Dr. Franklin for his ear, nose and throat specialty. I trusted him enough to have Botox and Juvederm cosmetic services done by him as well and I was thrilled with my results!

Dr.Franklin thinks he is in a would famous hospital rather then our tiny hospital in New Braunfels. He is rude to the staff and could not even make eye contact with me. He has a lousy way about him. Maybe he should go back to Boston or wherever he is from to be with his big shot friends. It makes you wonder why he is here in the first place.

This doctor came highly recommended as an ENT but I could not believe the push to do cosmetic procedures by his office staff which was not the reason I called. I don't know if his goal is to rip of the public or take care of patients cause I couldn't get an appointment to see him.
