You don't have a long wait to get into the back office for your appointment, but after that it's iffy. He is a "teaching Doctor" so he has little time to explain to the patient what's going on, but if you listen to his instruction or comments to his pupils than you can get an idea about what's going on. Very dour in his manner, but purported to be one of the best. I've been going to him for three years and yet have not had a conversation that wasn't fairly abrupt. He will refer you to your own Doctor for any additional concerns you have. His staff seems to think highly of him, and will assure you that you are getting "the best of care" if you have any doubts. If your lucky you will get one of his "students" that have been there awhile and you can get more information from them then you will from him. But overall, I've gotten better from a very serious illness, so I give him credit for that. His office does not share lab reports with other Doctor's, so you will have lots done.
