Dr. Semerjian is very rude, inattentive, dismissive and unprofessional person. He doesn't listen to the patient he just repeats himself. I don't recommend him at all!!!

Never been to such a rude, abrasive doctor! He wouldn't listen to ANYTHING I was telling him! Make rude remarks about being homosexual! After 2 appointments and doing all the tests he ordered, he was not able to give me any new information. I think it's time he retired, cause nobody wants to see a bitter old doctor that is out of touch with reality

I've had several procedures and then a surgery under general anesthesia from Dr. Semerjian. He and his staff seemed to handle the procedures rather well, with little or no discomfort for me. While results from surgery are never guaranteed, my own results were good. Dr. Semerjian also showed sensitivity for any issues I might have as Gay man. I've been happy with my care from Dr. Semerjian and his team and I recommend him.

Dr. Semerjian is a very experienced urologist. I was impressed with his diagnostic abilities and his careful use of the mildest, intermediate, to more invasive procedures only as necessary. He is extremely knowledgeable about the latest research and developments in his field.

I would not under any circumstances recommend him. He's old and forgetful. He made lots of little mistakes in my intake which makes me worry about what bigger mistakes he's making in my care. Additionally, his bedside manner is awful. He made it clear he had no time for my questions despite giving me a difficult diagnosis. Despite this he wrote that he "spoke extensively to me for 45 minutes" about my condition. Um, no. At five minutes he literally got up at walked to the door. He's just awful. Avoid at all costs.

DR.SEMERJIAN DID IN FACT SAVE MY HUSBANDS LIFE. HE AND HIS STAFF ARE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND SUPPORTIVE NOT TO JUST MY HUSBAND BUT TO MYSELF AS WELL. THEY TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING AND IF I EVER HAD A CONCERN THEY WERE QUICK TO RESPOND. I DON'T THINK I HAVE EVER MET A MORE PROFESSIONAL AND CARING STAFF AS A WHOLE. I WOULD AND HAVE REFERRED HIM TO EVERYONE THAT NEEDS A UROLOGIST... TOO BAD HE WASN'T A PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN--I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE HIM AS MY ALL AROUND DOCTOR. YOU ARE IN THE BEST OF HANDS WITH HIM!!

Greeted by staff and Dr. Semerjian with a reassuring "you will be fine, I assure you." Has guided me through a very difficult time. Every time he mentions a colleague or procedure he is correct. Sent my biopsies first to NYU then to Johns Hopkins to the "best pathologist in the country." And he was right. Dr. S. is very well respected and connected with the right people in urology. I wish I never would have had to have met him but that's my lot in life. I was referred to him by a friend who simply said "he saved my husband's life."

Dr. Semerjian was my urologist for several years and I left his care because of his antiquated procedures, knife-happy solutions, and amateurish conduct.
