The guy genuinely cares but is not overbearing more encouraging. He has strong people skills and is very knowledgeable. His PAs are good. In 25 years I’ve never had an issue.

Dr. Blanchfield has been my physician for 20+ years and is exceptional!

Have been a long-term patient & like Dr. Blanchfield, but am frustrated with practice. He is very good, busy, and hard to see. Find it's very difficult to access him as the practice has a firewall of receptionists and unavailable nurses who are slow to return calls. Nurse practioners are fine for routine stuff, but for complex situations, they are not effective and he is very difficult to reach.

Dr. Blanchfield is a very caring doctor, always attentive to his patients needs and has a very sound clinical mind. I trust him 100 percent with my care. My own gripe with his physicians group is that they participate in the "hospitalist" program at crouse hospital, meaning if you are admitted, you are under the care of one of their random hospitalists, not your primary care physician. He is aware of everything they do, but it is not the same as being able to talk to your normal doctor.

Have been a patient of his for over 15 years. He is very pleasant, answers all your questions and is sincerely interested in your health and well-being. Extremely intelligent and easy to talk to. Very Highly Recommended.
