I initially saw Dr Freyne many many years ago. I had the fortune of seeing her again more recently. Simply stated, she is awesome.

Very competent professional. Does not have time for your idle chitchat, go some group doctor on a paycheck with lots of time to waste if that is what you seek. Those in need of excellent care, go see Dr. Freyne.

awful experiences; every time I would wait from 45 mins to an hour and half just to get in to find out she spends three minutes with you, then doesn't explain diagnoses nor medication and that medication caused a seizure due to her lack of attention to the patient themselves. I got behind on one medical bill that was from labquest which was supposed to be covered by insurance so this last appointment she made me wait over 45 mins to tell me she wouldn't see me until the lab bill was paid; I thought this was illegal due to the type of medications she prescribed that affects the brain. She is violating a lot of patients rights. Rude staff when there was an issue with medication; it would not get solved due to Nurse denying her role in the part. She has had a lot of staff turnover due to her own attitude and lack of people and management skills. Her only hope would be to hire a manager for the clinic. If you are severely sick go somewhere else.

I understand the complaints about the waiting..absolutely inconvenient. Bedside manner is direct. I was my own best advocate in summarizing my previous 3 years of inability of doctors to correctly diagnose Ankylosing Spondylitis ("1 in 1000" patients she sees have this). I was assertive that I wanted MRIs of my SI joints to establish for certainty I had AS. After the intial MRI and reading, she made the tech go back and re-read the MRI because she didn't believe I had AS. After a second reading, she switched modes into treating me for AS and I finally got the treatment plan I needed. Almost immediately my debilitating pain disappeared and I was able to stop taking some serious pain meds. I just had a visit with her after 2 years and asked for another MRI to check the progress of the SI joints. My point here is took my suggestion and ordered another MRI which showed amazing improvement in the joints due to the treatment she put me on. She identified some other issues I had after a blood panel and referred me to another specialist. In the end, the "intellectual approach" mentioned here was the exact thing I needed to finally diagnose and treat a terrible malady I had been suffering from for years. Other well-meaning, "kind" physicians tried everything to diagnosis and treat me without success, and despite her initial skepticism, she confirmed the correct diagnoses and got me treated. I am grateful. If given the choice, I'd rather have a direct physician with no bedside manner that can treat me effectively than a pleasant, friendly doctor who can't get it done. I hate the waiting for her appointments, but I have an agenda with specific questions when I go in and I make sure I get me questions and concerns answered. Results are what counts and that's what I got from her.

Not punctual, sometimes have waited an hour. Rushes through consultation. Not very compassionate. She may be knowledgeable, but she doesn't explain herself very well because she doesn't give time for that. I have been seeing her since she opened her office, around 2010.

With all the comments, i absolutely agree. Dr.Freyne is cold, detached, and always rushing considering that wait time takes forever(2 hours the most, 1hour the least). After the long wait, she just saw me about a minute or two then will not give an opportunity to ask her questions regarding my condition. I have psoriasis. And there was a time that all of her staff got to go coz it's time to go(work hours are over) aNd the front office got to put in overtime! I've been seeing her for quite a long time and I guess it's time to change Rheumatologist.

At first when I first saw Dr Freyne, she seemed concerned and ordered tests. When she ordered in-house testing which was performed by her mother I thought this was strange. Her mother told me she had retired but her daughter needed someone to perform tests for osteoarthritis. The mother said she went to school and was still learning then told me I didn't have anything to worry about. Dr Freyne would order blood tests but NEVER discussed with me until I would have to make an appointment so she could discuss it. Unnecessary appointments, very rude staff, they do not acknowledge anyone who comes in. It's like we are an inconvenience just to be there as she was too busy messing up billing forms. Dr. has misdiagnosised me on many occasions. One almost cost me my life! Dr too busy with lap top, fills Rx's without asking you. Gloss over the reason why I'm there, bills my secondary insurance first and wonders after a year why they didn't get paid. Incompentant Dr.
