10 years with PPM, I was on a fentanyl patch & oral opioids & never failed a screen or had any other issues. Then because of a PA screw-up, I was fired. No concern for cold turkey withdrawals. 2 days later he called & assured me he was going to refer me to another doctor & not to worry! He never called me back, never would accept or return my calls, twice I have gone in & still missing the last two months so I can't even save myself. I really am so hurt! I trusted Dr.Riber but he is like so many & cares only about that all mighty dollar! I am so afraid with nowhere or one to help me. I have never had a shoulder issue except for years in this chart, confidentiality is a joke! I was set upon by 4 staff members if you include the OCC who was on the speakerphone of course I only realized that when the phone came from the back of one of the two high school girls. I was there to speak to the PA who in error wrote my prescription for 5 instead of 10 in January 2021 & February 2021. The crew who did not include my PA or Doctor accused me of trying to get DRUGS & I about died of embarrassment as a woman turned from her trunk & looked me dead in the eyes! Frustrated by all these people thinking they know my medical history better than myself & quickly becoming aware that this was a witch hunt when I wasn't able to get them to listen to my explanation and humiliated by their claims of drug abuse and dishonesty I drove away. The practice is out of control, I haven't seem my doctor except in the hallway in year's. Dr.Riber only does those internal tens units & really it's pretty easy to hook one up outside! Ten years ago I would have given him all the stars but he has become apathetic. I could not even get a discussion about possible other treatments in year's.

If i could give Dr. Riber 6 or 7 stars, I would. He is personable, down to earth, and very knowledgeable. His staff is friendly and helpful. I believe this is the best pain management practice in Columbia, and one of the best in S.C,

Dr. Riber uses state of the art equipment, excellent knowledge of his discipline and wonderful doctors in his facility. There are also great PA's and NP's. Everyone he has added to his practice has been very knowledgeable and helpful. His wait times can be quite long though, so plan some time to see him. Otherwise I can find no fault in him, his facility, the other doctors that work there or anyone on his staff. Everyone is very friendly.

Dr Riber and assistants excel in their patient care. Everyone in the practice exudes caring and understanding through attentive listening.
I have been a patient of Dr Riber's for over 10 years and Dr Riber has help me with chronic pain relief when other Dr's could not.
Dr Riber uses state of the art equipment, excellent knowledge of his discipline and top notch outside resources like Boston Scientific to provide the latest and best pain management strategies.

First, you wait forever. What is the point of giving an appointment time if they are always 45-60 behind? The first visit, he promised that he would fix everything. He prescribed a morphine pain patch that did nothing for the pain but knocked me out for weeks. After that, I never saw him again in person. They gave me 2 injections, no improvement. I now stopped going.

Dr Riber & his staff are great at what they do. Had the Boston Scientific Nerve Stimulator put in my back , it works great. Ward with Boston Scientific & Dr Riber ' s Practionars are great whenever I need help with adjustments to my stimulator.

I have been a patient of Dr.Riber for five years . Prior to finding him I had suffered for 25 years from extreme pain caused by a injury in my twenties . I had seen countless Dr.'s in Columbia and was becoming 100 percent debilated. I am a high energy person who was always active . My life was becoming very limited . I even went to Georgia to try to get help , nothing worked UNTIL I learned of Dr.Riber from a childhood friend . 😀 There is nothing stopping me now thanks to the care of Dr.Riber and his wonderful staff and PA's .
Today we are here ,but not for me , my husband Tony who just had a painless Spheno Ganglion Block for servere headaches . Dr.Riber just came in to check on Tony and spent time answering all questions . We belive Dr.Riber is a Godsend and will continue to recommend him to family and friends .

After suffering with pain in various areas of my body, Dr. Riber was the first doctor to listen and recognize what my problem was. He is gentle and attentive. I never feel rushed and I am already 98% improved after my treatment this morning! His staff is friendly and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Riber.
