Upset with so far most of the Dr's at pediatric health care alliance! Missed the diagnosis that my child has numerous allergies and asthma! I had to fight to get a referral to an ENT who discovered the allergies and he was the one to refer is to a pulmonary specialist for the allergies combined with asthma treatment the process to diagnosing her problem was an awful long 7 weeks!! Of which most of that was getting this pediatric alliance to give referral for they were stating her problems stemmed from tonsil stones alone!! No! It's allergies and asthma! Parent go with your gut if you feel something is not right with your child even after pediatrician diagnosed go with your gut so far I've seen this true with the pediatric dr's at pediatric health care alliance hillsbourgh county! If I had $ and different ins o wouldn't go to this group of pediatric dr's maybe there are some good one there but my experience so far does not leave me feeling confident!! Errrrrr

Dr. Tappan is great with my kids and I fully trust his medical opinion. I am never comfortable with an evaluation of my children unless it is done by Dr. Tappan. I have moved, yet continue to drive the distance for the comfort of knowing my children have the best medical care.

VERY unhappy with the staff. Always left on hold when I called. They are never on time and have you sitting too long with small children in the room. Dr. Tappan has always been nice and good with my children but they missed a HUGE one with my son. He has diabetes and no one EVER checked his sugar when we brought him in sick. We were just given Tamuflu and sent home. His weight never changed in 18 months and no one questioned why. They do not send reminders when shots are due, I have to call and see when they are due. I am changing doctors as we speak!

We love Dr. Tappan! He has been my daughters pediatrician since they were born. They are now 13 and 9. He always goes above and beyond for both of them and is always more than happy to answer all of my questions! He has never made me feel as if he is rushing us through an appointment. Thank you so much for everything Dr. Tappan!

I loved Dr. Tappan's personality. The children loved him. His staff was overworked. That is one of the reason's I left his practice. Dr. Tappan missed a seizure disorder in my first child, dismissing it as fainting spells. I found this out several years later when her new Dr. correctly diagnosed her. The main reasons I left Dr. Tappan's practice was his staff, not him even though I am still upset about him missing this seizure activity in my child.

Dr. Tappan is a wonderful and caring physician. He has been the MD to both of my girls for many years. The only reason I had to leave his practice was because I moved to Denver. I continue to recommend his practice to all of my friends and family back home in Florida.

This person is the most rude and arrogant individual I have ever met. I would not refer him to my friends or family.
