I drive across the state with my daughter to see dr. ledtke. We have been to several doctors including university of michigan with her. She had so much wrong with her and we couldn't get any answers. U of M told us all of her problems were because we let her sleep with a light on at night or go to sleep with a tv on, she was 6. They told me i was treating her like a prisoner of war and sleep depriving her and that is why she was so sick and had unexplainable test results. I was told she couldn't have chronic lymes disease because she had already been treated for it for 3 weeks and that is enough. Well 6 months into her treatment now and she is soo much better. I am slowly getting my little girl back week by week. She can actually make it through an amusement park walking without being in pain. Thank You to Dr. Ledtke and his staff for saving my little girl's life.

i am in agreement that he does not treat patients long term, or long enough. I suspect it is his mal-practice insurance or his ego, don't know. But I do know he does not treat you for life even if you are still sick.... sadly enough he is the only doctor in Michigan that is suppose to. lyme is suppose to be treated until all the symptoms are in remission, but he is the one who decides that regardless how your feeling. If you don't believe this, then check back every year for these reviews to find someone who has. If you are in treatment with him beyond ten years i would like to see your comments.

like the others said "don't waste your time or money" It sounds like he treats current onset lyme with good results, but not chronic lyme or co infections.He was nice at first & promised to get me back to the person I was before. He did not do that! think about it why is it years on a waiting list? because he will keep you as a patient for a few years and make all that money off of you and when you have had enough physically and mentally AND drained your bank acct. of course then there is an opening, for him to suck his next victim in.You are a victim not a patient in that office.I about had a heart attack when I stumbled upon these reviews, it hit me in the pit of my stomach beacuse that is how he has treated me.All I heard about when trying to set up my next app is that "dr.Ledtke is going on vacation" I am sharing my honest experience to try to help others, not beat the dr to a pulp. Rather im just being truthfull.

Dr. Ledtke is the only doctor out of many that actually helped me get my life back. I am finally on the right track. Lyme is very complicated. After being sick for 4 years I am now enjoying life and my children. God bless this man for what he has done for me and many others. I drive over 100 miles to see him and it's worth every mile. Office staff is the best. Very kind and thoughtful. If you think you have lyme, you should make an appointment.

I believe this doctor saved my life. I have lyme disease and couldn't walk good I couldn't close my hands I was in severe pain all the time from my swollen joints but that has pretty much went all away. I have my life back! I felt as thoug my organs were swelling this is a very sary disease but he will do his best to help!

Don't listen to the negative ppl on here. Dr. Ledtke is the best!! Some ppl look for anything to be negative about. Dr. Ledtke has helped my daughter to recover from Lyme and she is doing soooooo much better. I highly recommend him!!

Dr. Ledtke is very kind and extremely intelligent. He is the only doctor in the area that will actually see me for Lyme Disease. We work as a team in trying to heal me; he does his homework and I do mine. After seeing doctor after doctor, I finally saw a glimpse of hope after visiting his office. I would highly recommend Dr. Michael Ledtke to anyone needing medical answers.
