Ledtke is using patients because they are desperate. Period! He yelled at me & said I would never get better. He said he used to have lyme. Used to? With that mood swing, he still hasn't cured himself, much less a patient of his. No insurance accepted. If I were to listen to Ledtke, I would be dead today. Thank God, my husband researched lyme & helped cure me. We saw him 3 times & had enough of his empty treatments even though we never left owing less than $500.00. Go to some other doctor, this guy does not know enough & does not reinvest in his own research for the money he charges.

Dr. Ledtke is a very kind and caring man. His receptionist is very nice as well. I've been seeing him for about 18 months and am only bout 40% better. Very frustarting, because he has no other answers for me or different types of treatment he will try. He did tell me he can help everyone. I guess I'm that everyone.

Interesting all these comments. This office intrigues me. Upon first seeing Dr. Ledtke I felt heard. Misdiagnosed for years and treated badly by doctors, he listened and indeed I had Lyme. In the beginning he saved me. He listened. I will always be grateful . However his protocol is antibiotics and I had horrible side effects and as I live alone ..and as many lyme sufferers realize no one including family either believes you or don't care I was deeply afraid of the side effects.

Too much to go into. However my trips three hours one way gas and his fee were expensive. Still what choice does one have. Lyme is a horrible disease. So I kept going and finally he suggested kindly that if I were not going to follow his protocol perhaps I should not come back. That appt was 215 dollars. I want to follow him but the lack of his understanding and compassion of the fear of the side effects and the financial commitment astounded me. His office can be friendly or not. His wife I found to be more aware and never was she not friendly or kind. Judy on the other hand can be not so friendly. I felt I needed to engage her to be kind. Frankly I always with the exception of the first appointment never felt understood. Lyme takes you to your knees. Surely this office would understand this. So here I am ..yes better than I was but still sick. Lyme. I see a naturopath that seems to understand lyme and antibiotic protocol and all the theories about this mess of a disease. Feels like we should all work together . But we don't.

My last appointment with this office I explained that I was in a compromised financial situation . Made the appt and Judy stated the would keep that in mind.
They did not.

Still. Dr. Ledtke was the FIRST doctor to LISTEN .. and HEAR me when I was so very very ill and I will always be grateful .

However I am sick. I am 70 years old.
I believe that really..folks are just glad they aren't you. You get sick..you are on your own.

We had been seeing another Dr. that we discovered was over-medicating our son. Within 24 hours of Dr. Ledtke's protocol our son was not ASKING to go to school instead of melting down, screaming and having major fits. It's not perfect, we've still got a ways to go, but our son is much calmer and the behavior is much, much easier to deal with in using Dr. Ledtke's approach.

This doctor saved my life. I have never met a more compassionate doctor. His knowledge of the illness and his holistic as well as traditional approach to healing is brilliant.

I wish I had seen Dr. Ledtke when I was originally diagnosed with Lyme Disease. His office is 3 1/2 hours from me and it's well worth the drive! He has a great balance of modern day medicine as well as holistic. He always has different thoughts and options to try and after years of going from doctor to doctor for help with my Lyme disease, he was the one who got me on the right path to healing.

Dr. Ledtke was a mixed bag for me. On one hand, he made some VERY astute observations about my health that several of the other baker's dozen docs. I'd seen previously had overlooked. These observations have been since validated and incorporating them into my health care has been instrumental in making improvements on longstanding issues.

On the downside, I felt at my first appt. that Dr. Ledtke was not really listening to an important aspect of my history which could significantly effect the course of his proposed treatment. I followed my gut and chose not to treat with him, although as indicated, I respect his intelligence in key areas. He is also not as holistic as I would like, failed to identify which co-infections he thought I had and did not look at other contributing factors to my overall poor health (other than tick-borne diseases) but which are common in Lyme patients including potential viruses, heavy metals, parasites, mold, etc. In short, his approach lacked nuance.

This doctor has saved my life and yes I have been receiving treatment for a long time.....first off most Lyme Doctors can't take insurance not because they don't want to but they have no choice because of the current guidelines. They say Lyme is a rich persons disease and yes that is correct. Even if he is not in his office he always is able to be reached. I know that out of all the doctors I have seen in the past ten years none of them looked at my blood work, none of them help me get to the bottom of what is wrong with me. It saddens me to see others attack him because he is the best doctor I have seen ever. My numbers are improving and that is only because of the treatment plan we have in place right now. He is a great doctor who every day fights for people who are sick. He risks everything in order to help others.

Dr. Ledtke said just by looking at me and my symptoms that i had lymes. I can tell u something i dont care what you call my disease the treatment I'm getting has improved my quality of life soooo much! Actually i think its extended my life.
