Dr. Sovilj takes has great 'bedside manner' and meets my need to have lab and test results explained in a straight forward, clear manner. She always allows time for questions. She personalizes each appointment.

Dr. Sovilj has been my primary care physician for more than 15 years and I can recommend her without reservation. She is careful, thorough, resourceful and collaborative. She will refer me for consult if there is any indication of a possible need for a more specialized assessment. I have encouraged my friends and family members to seek her care because I fully trust Dr. Sovilj's knowledge, judgement and professionalism. Dr Sovilj is caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. The wait time to see her is only minutes .I tell people if your appointment is 1:05 and 30 seconds you are in the exam room. She is the most knowledgeable Doctor I have ever had. I drive from Bakersfield to see her. She is honest straightforward and compassionate at the same time

My dad & mom have been driving 45 miles each way to Dr. Sovilj for 24 years. There is no other doctor that they would go to. She is very competent & thorough. She diagnosed my dad’s lung cancer at a very early stage and it saved his life. This isn’t the only time that she diagnosed something early on. My mom passed away last year from pancreatic cancer. My mom had an office visit as she wasn’t feeling well. Dr. Sovilj suspected pancreatic cancer from her symptoms & made sure my mom
received the tests that day. Dr. Sovilj checked on my mother as she navigated her way through chemo & surgery. She was so caring & compassionate. I want to say thank you for all that you have done for our family & that she is truly a doctor dedicated to her patients.

Dr. Sovilj is a no nonsense, super efficient internist who is thorough with her test recommendations and diagnosis yet not afraid to bring in other specialists as needed. She runs a tight ship and speaks quickly, which some may view as hurried but she always takes time to allow you to ask questions and explains things clearly. She’s funny (appropriately so) and relatable. I’ve been seeing her for over 10 years. She took care of my mother and her complicated pulmonary disease before that. I highly recommend Dr. Sovilj.

Dr. Sovilj has been my physician for over 20 years. I find her to be just what I need in a physician: knowledgeable, direct, thorough and dedicated to her patients. She is very practical and direct, and will work diligently to find the cause of relevant symptoms and abnormal laboratory values. Her evaluations seem logical and well thought out, and her follow up tests useful and appropriate. Although she does speak at a rapid pace, I never feel pressured or leave without my questions answered. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Sovilj as my internist.

She is so full of herself! And for what reason I do not know. She completely misdiagnosed me and then tries to put fear in me that I have some disease so she can run up the charges. She was so incompetent on so many levels it is hard to figure out where to even start. And always trying to force you to hug her...creepy
