Dr. Young saved my twin girls when they were given less than 24 hours to live. He’s always been impressive and it’s apparent that he is VERY experienced and knows what he’s doing. I’d 100% recommend him to everybody.

I love Dr. Young. I was reading these reviews and I'm pretty sure a lot of this isn't even about him. I had another Dr. Young from another practice her in Orem and I hated him, very arrogant. But Dr. Wayne Young is super nice, very humble, and incredibly smart. I found out he was an Olympian from someone else- you would never know that from him because he would never tell you himself. One review said he came in a Hawaiian shirt- I very sure that was the other Dr. Young. I'm pretty sure Wayne Young doesn't have a Hawaiian shirt! But I would highly recommend Dr. Wayne Young and his staff to anyone looking to have a wonderful baby experience.

18 years ago my wife and I struggled with infertility issues. Dr Young was willing to do whatever it took to help us have a baby. He even met us on a Saturday morning to measure follicles. He had to drive an hour one way, as we lived in a smaller town with a satellite hospital. He was always accommodating and kind. Our son is about to graduate from high school. I am convinced we wouldn't have our son had it not been for Dr. Young's efforts.

I had the same experience as a lot of other patients on here. He was very condescending, acted as if I was wasting his precious time, and was downright rude. I'm so thankful that he is not my regular Dr, but was unlucky to get him a few times on-call. I'm not a picky person, and I'm pretty forgiving of one bad experience as I know that sometimes people just have a bad day. Sadly, I had more than one negative experience with him. I have had a chance to see a few other Dr's in the practice & they have been excellent.

Give the guy a break! Of course he isn't going to rearrange travel plans to deliver your baby! We love Dr. Young. He delivered all four of our kids. The first one he was the assisting surgeon on my emergency c-section. I was introduced to him in the c-section room and never went back to my other doctor. I had some pretty major issues with some of my pregnancies and he would always give me several options on how to deal with those things. It seemed like he was constantly learning different techniques from different conferences or medical journals and making those options available to me. I absolutely love him. We have moved away but I frequently joke that if we ever had a surprise number 5, we would move back so he could be my doctor. I recognize that his personality isn't for everyone but it certainly was the right fit for my husband and I. I can't say enough good things.

He was awful. As you can see from many of the reviews he doesn't really care about his patients. He has a very hard time looking people in the eyes also. After a very hard birth with my son Dr Young was stitching me up, I had torn pretty badly. He was busy chatting with the nurse and hardly looking at what he was doing. The next morning he came in, in his Hawaiian print shirt, to let me know he thought he made a mistake and stitched me somewhere he shouldn't. He needed to do a ct right then to find out if he had. My husband had gone home to grab a few things so I was alone and really nervous. Luckily he didn't make the mistake he thought he had, but had he I would have needed surgery that day to fix his mistake or I'd go into kidney failure in a month. My mom has had a kidney transplant so this really worried me. He didn't apologize. I was terrified, this was my first child. I plead to you not to see Dr Young.

We will be delivering our 3rd baby with Dr. Young and absolutely love him and his staff. They must have changed a few things since our last baby (based on other posts) was delivered because we hardly wait 5 minutes in the waiting area. He is extremely helpful in assuring all of your concerns are met. He puts you and your baby's safety first. He & his staff are friendly and prompt. We highly recommend him to anyone who asks us.

Dr. Young was a challenge from day one. We moved from out of state about half-way into my wife's pregnancy. A month before the move, we had already provided all of our medical records so he was familiar with our high-risk situation, but he never once looked at them until the day of our first appointment. He had no idea what was going on and was asking us the status of our baby. Having all of our professional records, being unprepared and asking us, scared, first-time parents was stupid. As we met weekly, we were heading towards needing a planned C-Section. We went to plan it Sep 1, but he said, "No. I don't want to do it then cause it's Labor Day weekend. Lets do it the next weekend" (making us 1&1/2 weeks overdue because it wasn't convenient for him). Long story short, almost losing our baby we delivered on Labor Day with another Doctor while Dr. Young was out of town, thank GOD. 7 days before, after meeting weekly for 3 months, he asked, "What gender is your baby." Goodbye Dr. Young.

Dr Young has delivered both of my children and done a wonderful job. The office staff isn't very friendly and there is always a long wait, but Dr. Young made up for all of it when you met with him and when it came time for delivery. Our first child was rotated and required forceps and suction cup (a couple times) for a successful delivery. 2 different hospital nurses said any other doctor would have done a C-section. He is a great doc!
