I love Dr. Baxter and hearing of his recent death (January 2015) and my heart is broken. I had my 3 children under his care. He is the sweetest, most helpful, kindness, and had so much knowledge. I had 3 kids in 4 years and I trusted his care 100%. I know without a doubt he saved my children's life at some point or another. My latest delivery (April 2014) at 36-37 weeks I mentioned the baby wasn't moving as much and he sent me right over to the hospital for NST and I had an emergency c-section that day to save my baby who was having cord issues. I listened to my motherly instincts and he trusted my instincts and sent me to hospital. I will miss him and don't know if I can have another doctor delivery any future babies. I loved his staff, for all 3 of my children I had the same nurses and office staff at every appointment. I love that I saw Dr. Baxter at every appointment, not a rotating practice where you have to see a different doctor at every appointment. My list could go on and on. To his friends, family, staff, etc- just knowing him was an honor and I am grateful for him in my life.

I had my son with Dr. Baxter, and there is no doubt in my mind that he saved his life. If it wouldn't have been for him I wouldn't have my son today. He did a C-section due to complications and did a great job, you can't even see the scar. I know many family and friends who have had kids with Dr. Baxter and none of them were dissapointed. I have see him in action delivering three babies and he is a very good doctor.

Dr Baxter was the on call doc at the hospital when I had my daughter. From the point I got in the hospital to the time I delivered he spoke to me once, to tell me I was having a c-sec. He broke my water without telling me. He told the nurses when I got to the hospital I was having a cesarean, even before they started me on pit. He was rushing to get me out of his way. He was a total ass. I had an unnecessary cesarean, because he was in a rush.

My wife recently had our 4th child. We've always been with Baxter and his office and we've never been that impressed but we've never been so turned off that we felt the need to change. Well, this time around they have demonstrated a high level of arrogance and incompetence. Pre-natel care was OK but the MD and his office made it clear that they would do nothing post natel. When my wife called in complaining of headaches and chest pain and wondering if she could get an apt for the MD to assess for post-natal preeclampsia or anything related to the epidural, the office told us to go to the ER. ER found nothing and sent us to a cardiologist who saw her, scratched his head and said why isn't your OB/GYN following you... Cardiologist assessed and said her heart looks great, even still Baxter's office somehow got the message that there's and issue with r heart. Baxter and his office flat out refuse to follow my wife post natal and have instead sent her on a runaround costing us THOUSANDS.

Dr. Baxter is an amazing man and doctor. I always felt comfortable and taken care of. He always addressed all my questions and was never afraid to order tests. Since I had my first child with him, I didn't really know what to expect or when to question things. So when he moved my due date up b/c my sons head was measuring ahead (my husband has big headed babies run in his family) and he wanted to induce me right at 41 weeks I didn't question it. I started labor on my own the day I was supposed to be induced. So I went in got my epidural and started the pit and my son had d-cells. When they broke my water without really asking, they just said the d-cells was cause to get things moving faster and they found meconium (faster? When he is in distress?) and I ended up having a c section after a very stressful waiting and pressure to progress on my own in an hour. I've heard his c section rate is 35%, and if I had known that before I don't know. But his office staff is freaking amazing!!!

I LOVE Dr. Baxter and his staff!! I've had 4 babies with all different doctors, and he is my favorite. If I have another baby I will definitely go back to him. He is so considerate of your time. He never makes you wait more than a couple minutes. For one of my appointments he got called to deliver a baby, the secretary called me and rescheduled my appointment, so I wouldn't have to wait. He always answers your questions but gets you in and out as fast as possible. To some this may not be what you want, but to me I am so happy to know my appointments won't take forever to get into the room, then wait forever in the gown before the doc. even comes in. When I delivered he came in and talked to us as I was getting closer. Some doctors come in for the very amount of time it takes to get the baby out and then leave. He hung out and was very friendly and relaxing. I definitely recommend him and his staff:)

I love Doctor Baxter. He was on time or early for every appointment except one (Emergency C-Section -- and even then, his associate saw me within ten minutes of my appointment time). He always had time for questions if I had any, but otherwise, I was in and out very quickly. I just finished my 6-week postpartum visit, and was home before the time the appointment was scheduled. It means a lot to me when a doctor (and his nursing and reception staff) respect me enough not to waste my time.

When I told a few of my friends who I was going to see, they lit up and told me I would LOVE Dr.Baxter. And I did. I only had to wait for him once while he delivered a baby and it was only 20 mins. He always addressed my concerns and explained things in a way that made sense. I had A LOT of complications because I was so sick. He was there to check on me EVERYDAY-sometimes more- and the nurses all KNEW me and the situation and seemed VERY concerned about me. Going to Dr Baxter was a blessing in disguise in so many ways. He found so many things wrong with me that other dr.'s wouldn't even consider checking. I felt like he TRULY cared about me as a person. The nurses in his office are just AMAZING!!! The only complaint we had was some of his front end office girls weren't that great to work with. But still, I recommend him to EVERYONE and won't go anywhere else!

Dr. Baxter was extremely helpful and compassionate when i had a miscarriage and made me feel so much better after seeing him. He delivered my daughter as well and i thought he was great. The nurse had me push the baby til she was past my cervix? and then Dr. Baxter came in to deliver the baby. He came back to check on me the next couple days and was so nice and friendly. His nurses at the office are awesome! He sometimes seems rushed but still answers questions and gets you in and out very fast. He did 2 ultrasounds. one the first appt and one about 20 weeks.
