This physician has an ego the size of Texas. He is often app to have several people accompany him into first and second visit which is off-putting inasmuch as you can never really have a beginning

Dr. Nora performed gallbladder surgery on me. Upon awakening from the surgery I was in excruciating pain and was found to have pneumonia. It was likely a result of aspiration during the procedure. I consequently spent ten days in hospital recovering. I was very sick and had a very high temperature. Dr. Nora came into my room, sat on the bed and told me that “my lungs were
“c—p”. (I’ve been advised I cannot include the word the doctor used in this review.). I was astonished at how insensitive he was. I was very sick and frightened and did not need to hear that put in such a brutal way by my physician. I think Dr. Nora needs to remember that he is dealing with human beings and that he should consider his patients’ feelings.

I am praying that the woman who posted about her husband's misery with lymphedema, might be able to tell me which type doctor was able to diagnose her husband? I may be in the same situation and the pain is unbearable

I found Dr. Nora to be rather dismissive, cavalier, and disinterested. I won't be returning to his practice.

Dr. Nora and Dr. Patel did my back surgery abdominally. Although the surgery was extensive, I had almost no discomfort after the first 2 days. I am very grateful for his expertise.

Dr. Nora performed a distal Pancreatectomy/splenectomy on me - he ultimately saved my life. His bedside manner was outstanding. He was so compassionate - I requested him again when I had my gallbladder removed (at the same time I received my hysterectomy.) I cannot recommend him enough - his sense of humor made the distal Pancreatectomy less frightening.

Dr. Nora informed me I had a mass that needed to be removed. Spent $2,400 for surgery to be told by Dr. Nora he was wrong and there was no mass. Still in pain (rectal) and at follow up appt Dr. Nora told me "you just have a bad butt".
His son is currently in Med school, hope for his sake he makes a better Dr. than his father.

Dr Nora is more than an excellent surgeon. He is aware of his patient's fear and anxiety and takes great care to make the patient as calm, comfortable, and hopeful as possible. I am so grateful Dr Sassano sent me to him when I needed a surgeon. He is one super guy.
