I was not in the best place before seeing DR Varley I didn’t see a reason to live if I was going to suffer BUT him and his team saved my life I would not be here today without him and his staff i have reflex sympathetic dystrophy I get scared sometimes bc of the pain and being young I’m still learning to live with it but him and his office make the pain a little bit easier to live with. Pain like RSD is terrifying not knowing if your going to be bedbound one day or walking the next but I definitely recommend Dr Varley and his staff thank y’all for all that y’all do .

Will never forgive him for his treatment of me. So inhumane. It makes me sad to think about it and worry as but others who will be victims of intolerance. I had a wonderful life before my back problems and it was all so unexpected so dealing with someone like this I can now see why disability has such a negative impact of people.

Dr. Varley is by far the BEST DOCTOR!!! Amazingly he saved my leg from amputation and I was only 27 years old. I highly recommend Dr. Varley. I have Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy and he has been the only doctor thus far that has recognized this disease. He is so knowledgeable and his bedside manner couldn't be better. I am now 45 and have lived w~ severe pain for almost 17 years and I've never met another doctor that even stands close to the care that Dr. Varley gave me. I feel so Blessed that Dr. Varley came into my life when he did and I will be eternally grateful!! I only wish I could find another Doctor to be competent as Dr. Varley. May God Bless Dr. Varley and his continued success. ??

Dr. Varley ACTS like he's concerned but clearly does not listen to the patient. I went 5 different times and explained my symptoms in complete detail. He injected pain medicines into my back after having a psychology major whacko lecture me for 1 hour about my health. After the 5 injections & having to wait 2 1/2 - 4 hours each visit, I finally went to another doctor who when I described my symptoms diagnosed me immediately. Dr. Varley is a quack who missed the simplest hint of what my condition was. I even used Symptom Checker & told him I think this may be what I have & he dismissed it. He was ready to schedule back surgery for me. I would have had a stroke because I had Peripheral Artery Disease with complete blockage of my arteries. He is so intent on being correct that he does not listen to the patient. I wasted too much time and money with this psycho freak and I would not recommend him to the worst of enemies.

The negative comments you read here is the God's honest truth. He refused to believe the lengthy forms I filled out prior to my appt. Before you see Dr. Varley he requires that you first meet and talk to his Italian shrink (Vargas) who provides a copy of an Italian study titled "Opiates Make Pain Worse". After an hour or so I was taken to see Dr Varley who disagreed with all information in my file, including MRI images, etc. I was told to disrobe and put a hospital gown on. Next a anesthesia doctor talked to me. Three separate nurses failed to land a shunt into a vane. Each time they tried to inject the medicine I ended up with a golf ball sized lump at the injection site so I never benefited from the drug. I was taken into a special room where Dr. Varley used a large long needle to inject a solution into two of my joints. Yes, it was painful but not as painful as it was that night. When I asked for pain medicine his nurse (Laura) was very disrespectful. I'm over 60 yo and not a JUNKIE

I am a patient of Dr. Varley and am thankful for the care and treatment I have received over the past two years. I have experienced great service by Dr. Varley and his staff. I have never waited for more than a few minutes for my appointment. Usually the nurse will call me prior to me being able to complete the one page questionare. Dr. Varley and all of his staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Varley is one of the most skilled pain management specialists in the Southeast. He does minimally invasive interventions, after he do finds out what's causing your pain. He will not prescribe narcotics as a method of treatment, so I am not surprised that a few "patients" will get really mad at him. I see from a previous review that one of the patients who got mad has visited 30 doctors. Makes you wonder what she or he was looking for. Doesn't it? When I see Dr. Varley for a treatment I feel cared for by an expert. That's all I want from him. For my medicines I go to my family doctor. If you have pain, you cannot do any better than Dr. Varley's practice.

I love Dr. Varley and his staff. It's been several months since my last procedure. I received a call from them checking to see how I was doing. I informed them that I was doing great and promised to let them know when my pain level increase in order to schedule my next visit. Dr. Varley has been treating me for the past 18 months for a chronic pain condition. The treatments have truly helped. My quality of life is such much more enjoyable by having my pain level under control.
