An appointment with dr sun is just an anxiety ridden moment. Its a hit or miss if he is in a bad mood. Mostly bad. I've been cursed at, belittled, even after fully complying with his orders. Several times I have left my appointment in tears. He constantly threatens to cut you off your meds. I feel like a child in there getting yelled at from a parants. Be prepared to wait a min of 1 1/2 hrs which is horrible with back pain. Doesn't let you explain things, puts words in your mouth. Calls you a liar. I dont know what to do to please this man. I will never recommend this dr to anyone suffering with chronic pain. His bedside manner and mood swings just make you feel worse. When calling in for anything, the staff is extremely nasty. Currently looking for another dr. Im suffering enough. I dont deserve this treatment. Nobody does!

Absolutely THE WORST experience I have EVER had with a Doctor's office in my entire life. After living with chronic pain in my knee for over 10 years and seeing dozens of doctors to fix the issue, I have to say this office employs by far the most unfriendly and hostile people I have ever encountered in the medical field. The doctor himself is one of the most unfriendly and nasty people I have ever spoken to, and it only gets worse from there with the secretaries. Most doctors and their offices care about their patients and want to help them, but this office could care less about you, your pain, your injury, or anything else besides your wallet. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO HERE! Myself and several other patients I have spoken with had such a terrible experience I felt it necessary to make the first doctor review I ever wrote. These people should NOT be in the medical field. The only reason they are it seems is because its a very lucrative business. Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere.

When I initially called to make an appointment it took about 5 weeks to actually get in to see Doctor Sun. I really liked him. I only waited for about 5 minutes to see him and he spent about 1 1/2 hrs with me talking about my situation and different options we could try to ease the chronic back, leg & hip pain I suffer from. He expressed to me verbally and through his actions how much he was there to help me. There is one staff member I find to be cranky on occasion, however I think you find that everywhere. He is not the first pain management doctor I have been to, but he certainly the only one who didn't leave me feeling completely hopeless.

Making an appointment wasn't easy. The office staff hides behind an ugly venetian blind(I don't know what they are hiding, but very unprofessional),only opening it to check you in and then it closes again. The office staff is not personable. Its like they are doing you a huge favor and they will get to you when they feel like it.My wait time is ALWAYS OVER AN HOUR in the waiting room. When I get to a room I have to wait 20 to 40 min.The dr seems to be knowledgeable, but isn't personable.refills R a chore. You have to request a refill 7 to 10 business days ahead of time.Figure in the weekends and you need to call 2 weeks ahead. Now you have 2 weeks to guess when they might call it in to the pharmacy because they won't tell you when it will be called in.They do forget to call it in sometimes.Call too late and they will let you run out unless you pay them to call it in.(emergency charge).Need a photo copy of something,$1.00 per page.Need something filled out,$$$.I would not refer someone I like.

I was treated less than human, required to wait three hours after my given appointment time, insulted, I was made to feel that the amount my insurance paid was my doing and would commonly hear about what a great service he was offering to me considering what he got for seeing me, other patients, with better insurance, would be seen before me even though my appointment was before theirs. I have never felt so belittled by a doctor as with this one. What happened to doctors becoming doctors because they want to help people who suffer? When you are reminded by the doctor time and time again about how poor they are being paid for carring for you and what a waste of time your care is. I am utterly dissappointed in humanity and the doctors who vow to help those who suffer.
