Very unprofessional and incompetent . Always late, always make inappropriate jokes, always in a hurry. Never seems to be concha out patient’s well being.

Always wait 45-60 minutes past scheduled appointment time before I actually see the Dr. However, the doctor is knowledgeable and has good rapport. Does feel a little rushed, but most doctors are.

Dr. Khoudary is always late. I began seeing him on Jan. 26th the day after an emergency transport for a kidney stone, 1 kidney stone, 3 MM. My 2nd, 3rd, 4th, visit he acted like he had never seen me before. At the end of every visit, he asked if I needed any narcotics. I HATE NARCOTICS. On May 2nd, I had to see him again due to unbearable pain. I asked that we view all of my CT Scans and X-Ray's together. I was shocked to see an X-ray full of kidney stones since I initially went to see him for only 1 - 3 MM stone. I was shocked to see all the stones and Dr. K kept talking and explaining our options. I was standing behind the computer screen as my CT Scans were being pulled up and noticed the name on the X-Rays....they were NOT mine. I told the doctor, I am not Susan ... and he looked at me and stated, "you are not" and I said NO. You can imagine my surprise that the doctor didn't even know who I was. Always running to the next patient in the next room. Unbelievable. All about the $. On May 3rd, not even 24 hrs later, was somehow able to get me an 11:30 AM appointment for Lipotripsy, which is amazing that I could get on the trunk the very next day. Surgery did not take place at 11:30 AM. I didn't even see Dr. K before or after surgery. I was taken to the truck at 3:21 PM. Unbelievable - I was STARVING since you can't eat after midnight. Remember: I was told surgery would be at 11:30 AM. A follow up apt was scheduled for 3 wks. later. He asked if I had passed any stones, my response was no. He said see you in 6 wks. Following the appt. I knew it was time to find another Dr. preferably a DUKE doctor. I made an appt. requested all my medical records. In June, the Duke doctor took 1 look at the CT Scan, I had performed after leaving Dr. K's office. He discovered the stone was now 7 MM. He reviewed my medical records and it stated Post Op: Right Renal Pre Op: Same. Not dissolved but, SAME and Dr. K. had me come in for a follow up. Unbelievable. Dr. K wrote that report so he knew when he took me off that truck, he didn't get the stone. $40 K later and a whole lot of pain. The Dr. at DUKE could clearly tell by the density of the stone that the stone was a Uric Acid stone and Lipotripsy would never be successful on a Uric Acid Stone. Unbelievable! DON'T let these Cary Urologist take your $$$. On June 27th I have a successful surgery. Remember on Jan. 25th it was 3mm. On June 27th - 7 MM.

First Urologist of many to EVER "think outside the box" which is tremendous for this M.S. patient. Giving all fives because his staff is so kind and helpful and Dr. K himself is a breath of fresh air with his smarts and ability to communicate with regular folks like ME.

Main problem was the long waits prior to office visits with Dr. Khoudary. When he did finally arrive he seemed anxious to move on to the next patient ...and I was also anxious to finally get out of there. So visits were terse and lacking.

I saw two other urologists before seeing Dr. Khoudary. He was 25 minutes late, but well worth it. Solved my problem and will definitely be back.

Takes the time to really listen to you and then clearly explains findings. Great personality spills over to his staff. Wish more doctors were as excited about their work and the people they treat like Dr. Khoudary.
