I see bad reviews and all I have to say is "really?". First, Dr. Meier is from Germany, do some research and you'll understand why she may "seem" unfriendly or warm or harsh. Second, I would much rather go to a doctor who knows their stuff and tells me like it is than to one that is all smiley, chatty and has no clue and spends 10 min with you... because I did that for 12 yrs and the Endo (Rees-Jones) did nothing for me. In a year Dr. Meier has done more for me than any other doctor, and I was pretty messed up. I feel the best I have in years!!! My thyroid is under control, hormones that were wacked are back to working properly and I've lost weight. Lastly, if you greet someone with a smile then you'll receive a smile in return and I will continue going back to Dr. Meier over any doctor that's "tried" to treat me, she takes the time and does her research to get things back where they should be.

During my first visit I was wondering if this would work out. She spent a lot of time typing my info into the computer. Since then, I have found out that she is really very shy, and slow to get to know people. I've now seen her 3 times and each time she has upped my meds to a point that I am finally feeling better. My last Endo (at Rees-Jones) kept me under medicated and I nearly died when Armour Thyroid changed their formula. Dr Meier is less concerned about the lab results and more concerned about symptoms. I'm finally loosing the weight I gained being under medicated after my thyroid surgery in 2004. She does smile and is very warm, but just shy, so give her a chance. She is holistic and frankly, I'd rather have a doctor who cares about nutrition, not just drugs.

The doctor knows hormones but it is clear that she wants to sell you a ton of supplements and is focused on making money. The office also pushes botox and fillers... It's all about making money. A true story... She reviewed my blood work and gave me a copy of the results after the appointment I looked at the report and it wasn't my blood work. Opps

She is the most unfriendly doctor. She hardly looks at you when she's in the room because she is too busy typing on the pc. Her assistant acts like you're pulling teeth to get a prescription taken care of.

She is one of the coldest doctors I have ever seen. She did not smile but once and that was briefly. She typed during our entire time together and hardly looked at me. I felt like I was in her way.

All the above comments are right on. She is very late, but willing to get to the bottom of your issue. However, assistants are not helpful AND how can a holistic doctor heavily promote botox? Also, very expensive AND does not tell you the price...it's a surprise. Looking for a new doctor.

I have been suffering with PCOS for many years and read an artical about Bio Identical hormones and her research. I went into her office and explained all the run around I have been getting from OBGYN and Endro office. She took the time to really think of a way to make me more comfortable and did 100 times more blood work than any other DR. She research all my hormones and now she has me on a hormone treatment and I am feeling like I'm on the way to almost being a normal person. Her office staff could use improvement on being time. I have gone in and waited 20 in the lobby and 45 in the office before seeing the Doctor. But overall she is a wonderful Dr. and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a real answer.

The Dr is great. The office is run horribly. They mix up who you are going to see. They dont scan info in like they say they did. They give you wrong info/supplements and then blame YOU for their mistakes.
