Thanks to Dr. Katia Meier's expertise with hormone therapy and suppements, I am feeling healthy and enjoying my fifties. Dr. Meier helped me transision from synthetic hormones to bio identical hormone therapy. She also helped identify nutritional supports for my specific needs. Once I began bio identical hormone therapy my body dropped two sizes and many pounds back to my premenopausal weight and shape. It's great to feel and look great. Dr. Katya Meier provides excellent, comfortable injectable services. She is skilled and kind, and her practice provides a full array of aesthetic services. Life is more fun when you look your best. Dr. Meier keeps my face looking rested and natural. I am in my fifties and it is a pleasure to look in the mirror.

I have mixed feelings about Dr. Meier. I feel she is quite knowledgeable, but her presentation can be rather cold, indifferent,arrogant & intimidating. There seems to be alot of challenges with her office staff and alot of staff turnover. She asks for too many office visits to review lab work and often its hard to get copies. It has been hard to hang in there with her, but she has really helped with a significant health challenge. So I will continue for awhile longer. Once she gets to know you, she warms up a bit. Perhaps it is due to a European,German temperment. Botox doesn't seem to fit with a natural practice, so I think that is just for the money. I feel she does know alot regarding supplementation and does use quality nutrients.Expensive though. I hope things smooth out as there are too few holistic md's around. I have referred several others, but I warn them of the challenges first.

I do not consider katya meier qualified to practice medicine. She appears to be having difficulties on all levels of her practice and staff. example: she is unable to code lab tests correctly and refuses to make any corrections even when DORA requests her to. She refuses to share any lab work results, etc. unless you schedule another appointment. Her staff stated that katya meier is having great difficulty with patients not returning, so she uses this method as an attempt to force them to return.

So I read through all the comments. First off I have never been pushed the botox stuff. As far as the supplements..they are meant to help..dont want them..dont get them. Dr Meier is the best thing that has happened to me. She got my thyroid under control which was HUGE..and has helped me lose 40 pounds. I feel normal again..next stop..hormone replacements. Dont listen to the people on here..she has always been friendly and kind to me. The staff is awesome and they know me by my first name. I have had to wait on a few occasions..but its a drs office..there are patients that need a bit more time..so dont blame the office..

Very unprofessional, Doctor and Staff!Made me wait an hour in the room without anyone checking in on me. I walked out!! Told staff to tell Doctor to call me and tell me of findings -never did! Called again 10/25/2011. No Call very rude Doctor and Staff!

I also included the cost of the supplements. They have a financing plan too, so inquire about that if you're self-pay, uninsured. I think Dr. Meier is a very competent, knowledgeable doctor. She is compassionate, sensitive to her patients' needs, and insightful. Her honesty is coupled with empowering warmth, good character and efficient use of time with her patients. She gets to the heart of exactly what needs to happen, for her patients well-being. She is a women's health and children's health advocate. I highly recommend her as a family physician, especially for women and children.

Hard to get followup care. Medical needs are not consistant based on the Dr. has too many patients and cant keep an assistant. I have seen 3 different dr's in the last year I guess due to "differences". The doctor wanted me to call when I ran out of meds and she will put in a refill. Well, that Dr. is no longer there so I have to pay to go back in for a refill only after 3 months. This office is run by money and how much they can get. I feel like Im being taken advantage of so I will not be going back and I hope no one else gets caught up in the scam. their suppliments are very high $ and BOTOX? Really? Everyone in the office has had at least their lips done and it looks awful. Besides its suppose to be a natual medicine office. The Dr. is also ripping off the insurance by limiting your visit to 15 minutes and charging the insurance for at least 30 minutes. What a rip off. Dr. Meir is knowledgeable in her field but really?

I feel very comfortable with Dr. Meier and I really like her new office. I have been seeing her for the past year and I really like the way she has treated my conditions, I have seen much improvement. I do like the supplement that she carries but they can be pricing. I will continue to see her.

Thanks for making me a type 1 diabetic by refusing to give me needed triglyceride meds because I couldn't afford the $300.00 bogus blood tests you wanted. I no longer have a pancreas to speak of, I can only hope you and your family suffer as much as I have, may you all die!!!

Supplement pusher. Put me on thyroid meds - saw an endocrinologist for 2nd opinion, who said I would have had a heart attack from the meds if I were 10 yrs older. Assistant scared me into thinking I had thyroid cancer and ordered an unnecessary biopsy. Assistant also believed in crazy hippie medicine and not real medicine.
