Dr.Irene is AWESOME! My daughter was recently diagnosed as Type 1 Diabetic, and our pediatrician referred us to UK with Dr.Irene, and we couldn't be more pleased. We have now seen her 3 times for follow up exams and extremely pleased with her every visit. She is very hard to get into to see, but that's just because she is that GOOD. She explains thing to children and parents in a manner that everyone can understand and has a GREAT personality.

Dr Irene is wonderful. Her bedside manner and skill base are unremarkable. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get appt due to understaffing at University of Kentucky.

my son was admitted to the hospital and nearly died. Dr Hong Mcatee did not give up until she found out what was going on inside his tiny body and then sat us down and explained everything to us in ways that we would understand. She is a great doctor!
