i've been with her for 5 years already and two kids. she is very kind to the kids. with the parent i found her to be very matter of fact / no nonsense. it may be offputting to some parents who want to be "nurtured" at 1st i found it intimidating but now i really like and appreciated the way she interacts with parents + she's always respecful and never blows you off with your concerns. she will listen and then give you the facts. does not overmedicate and always very thorough. my kids like her very much she has a special way with the kids...somehow she puts them at ease. if you want a good doctor i recommed her. she was highly recommeded by the nurses at the hospital my daughter was born.

Dr. Marino is great. My wife looked high and low at as many doctor's as possible in order to compare and found Dr. Marino to be one of the top pediatricians around. We have been taking our son there for about 5yrs now and won't take him anywhere else. We highly recommend her to any family who is particularly picky with their child. So if you only want the best for your child, Dr. Marino is sure to live up to those expectations.

After my most favorite pediatrician moved too far for us to travel to visit, I bounced to a few pediatricians and then found Dr. Marino. In my opinion, she's good, careful, gentle, and thorough. I believe she has been in practice for about 20 years and has partnering physicians. I've observed the partners tend to be young and energetic and move on as they have their own families. I make sure that Dr. Marino is the one to give the general physicals and check in with when a serious problem occurs but the other doctors are wonderful for sick visits. She has two offices, one in Manhattan and on in Queens. For us, staff is always kind and helpful with scheduling or paperwork or prescriptions. Dr. Marinio is good at communicating with my child and with myself. I've not found her quick to prescribe or excessive in withholding meds - she's simply level-headed in her approach. We've been with her for 3 years now, and plan on staying.
