Dr Kennedy has been my allergist for almost 20 years. He and his staff are professional knowledgeable and extremely competent.

I saw Dr Kennedy last year for suspected allergy. I was very suspicious of the testing method (skin prick test). After waiting a while to get test results, I was told to avoid peanuts, mustard, kale (anything in the mustard family). I felt rushed when I got my letter and bill to pay. When I said that I was surprised about the results - peanut allergy, mustard allergy - these are foods I ate tons of without any reaction. The response was they could happen anytime in the future. After avoiding most foods for a couple of months. My doctor sent me to see another doctor. The tests were repeated and it turns out I did not react to peanuts or mustard. These were confirmed with blood tests (peanuts). I eat all these foods regularly now with no issues. I might still develop a peanut or mustard allergies in the future, but my point is that the testing procedure at this clinic at the time I had it done was error prone. The consequences of false positives can be very distressing - but it did make me appreciate what it is like to have a serious allergy. I did not have a good experience, and felt that I wasted my money.

I'm torn on Dr. Kennedy. I went to see him for an allergy-related issue my GP was unsure about, and after having an inconclusive allergy test, I he prescribed a medication that's been helping. I feel, though, that although he may really love what he does, that the time has come that he should maybe think about retiring. He's very old-school which may be detrimental; he might miss things that more modern practice would catch. He isn't very personable and I have to say I felt pretty uncomfortable for most of my appointment. It almost gives off the impression that he doesn't like people very much.

This Doctor is not registered as an immunologist/allergist, he is a GP with interest in respirology.

This Dr. needs to retire. He has no bedside manner and was not helpful at all. I came from out of town for the appointment so the 6 hours drive was for nothing.

I was worried about this doctor, because the reviews are not good at all. But he was fine. Yes, he is very old and not friendly. So what? He is a doctor and he does what he needs to do. I would go back!

Dr Kennedy's staff are great, but he's terrible. No compassion or bedside manner, and did nothing to help my eye allergies, instead telling me that they didn't exist.
