Very sad.
Husband Liked Pichardo after seeing him but Saw his p.a.s for years in order to be seen within an hour. Husband had stroke and saw Frank Vallor several times a year for 8 years. I notified office when my husband died and yet never heard a word from dr, Pichardo or Frank. Seriously.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nelson Pichardo since I moved to Florida in 2004. He is an outstanding doctor who took very good care of me. I saw him for abour 6 years then went to his PA Diana Nieto and have been with her ever since.. this young woman is INCREDIBLE. I have so much respect and faith in her. She is the BEST. She has helped me outl of so many health situations. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I prefer not to specify ins. info or cost as it is irrelivant. I have to admit the wait can be long but I request to see Dr. Pichardo and no one else. Though he has a PA to visit first before he comes along is a reason I can't quite understand myself but non the less he is a very well educated doctor. Medicine is a science that is why they call it practicing medicine. It is not mathmatical with an eqation that you can plug in and it works every time. Everybody's body is different if one medication doesn't work they will switch to see which one does. I have been to several different hospitals when I had an issue and my physician at the time did not know what was going on either. My father was eventually going to take me to the cleveland clinic in New york as my condition was not being treated correctly and I was not getting any better. He took me to Dr. Picharo and he figured out what the problem was and treated me. It took a couple meds but never again have I had this issue.

This place is constantly changes providers, and policies , when you need a simple thing it turns into a nightmare. and it should not be 15 min to see a Dr especially there. your in there forever and if it's your first time there...forget it. your there 3-4 hrs just waiting for the DR! Great Dr. but poor service

After having a mix-up in the test results from a mammogram, I went to the office to ask for a copy of my results. I was told that I could not have them without first seeing a doctor. I said it was the PA who called me and I asked why I couldn't have them. Four days later I received a registered letter from Dr. Pichardo saying that I was no longer a patient in that office and all future appointments were cancelled. Who has been fired by a doctor for asking for a copy of their test results? I, too, was always referred to a PA. I had to wait for every appointment as long as 1-1/2 hours.

Dr. Pichardo always goes the extra mile in caring for us. The office is state of the art (electronic), his staff is always attentive to our needs, and I am sure without his close attention to my test results, I would not be as healthy.

He treated my husband in the hospital. While there, he suffered a stroke. I requested that Dr Pichardo have him moved to ICU because he could not eat by himself, call for help or speak, and he refused. Dr. Pichardo's answer to my husband's care was to have a tube put in his stomach and put him in a nursing home. If you care for your loved ones, don't take them here. You will most likely have to wait several hours for your appointment and only get to see the PA. They also are in the habit of scheduling your appointment with Dr Pichardo and when you get there, you find it was changed to the PA.
