My 63 year old mother visited Dr. Herrick for pain management recently. He gave her 3 or 4 shots in her neck with a thick needle that was about the length of a four finger or longer without offering her any anesthesia! The injections went in slowly so she felt pain for a lengthy period of time. She cried and wailed very loudly and consistently while this occurred. She said he told her to be quiet because she would scare away his other clients. I walked into the office and immediately recognized her voice and demanded to see her. When my mom came out she was humped over and crying profusely as if she had been physically abused. I was furious. She said the pain of the shots was truly extreme and she told him and he just looked at her as she cried loudly. She has had many shots and NEVER has this happened. She kept asking me "why would he do me like that "? She was very distraught and physically hurt. Later she told me his demeanor was inconsiderate, rude and unconcerned.

Have been here 3 or 4 times my first visit they didn't wait for me to be out and stuck my back did good until today Drforgot to give me sedative until nurse reminded him.after the shot he stuck the needles in my back and when I hollered he told me not to because I'd scare the other patients.he wasn't worried about my pain I left in pain and very upset and crying from the pain .became full if you can't tolerate pain like I cant

I left from there DEHUMANIZED, UPSET, USED, BETRAYED, TREATED LIKE SOMEONE SIMPLY SHOPPING FOR DRUGS by someone who represents my physician but knows NOTHING about case nor seeming to have any interest and it was certainly not worthy of a co-pay.

dont right awlful.he let me go because i couldnt come evry time he wanted drug test also it was because i wouldnt do the stimulater inplant,the reason for transportation all the time.

Dr Herrick is a wonderful doctor. He has helped my dad manage his chronic pain. He has always been kind and really listens to his patient. My family is very pleased with his care. I can't say enough good things about him.

He is not that great. anyway, i am sure he saw the news about two Mobile pain doctors being arrested today. He should get rid of his three other pain clinics and just have one to be safe. It would be very funny if he was shut down while still being a board member. Katz is better

Dr. Herrick is the best docter I have ever had. He has excellent bedside manner. I have never had a bad experience with his office in the 5 years being with him. I am so happy he has an office in prattville now. Thanks Dr. Herrick you win Dr. Of the year in my eyes. Thanks Melinda

dr.herrick understands pain and thats means alot for a dr.i give him a 10 and i`ve going to him for 4 yrs so i know he knows what he`s doing.

This doctor is a hack and put me in more pain than I was originally in. I had a discogram done and I felt like a guinea pig on who they performed their first procedure. Is was painful enough that I screamed and yelled through the whole thing, something I never do. BEWARE - research your options before going to him.
