He only cares about money not you. Very rude. Stay far away.

Two months ago I gave a 5 star rating as I thought I had found the best dental office in the GTA. Dr. Golovanov is exceptional and this rating is not a reflection on him but the staff and the way things are done. I was scheduled for dental work today at 1:10pm under general anesthesia and I arrived at 12:40pm. At that point a staff member immediately said oh I was going to call you because we are running 1.5hours behind. I live 40mins away and they know that from my file so they should know that it would have been too late since they tell you to arrive a little early anyways. So I said okay well if you are running 1.5hours behind which usually means at least 2hours then I should have the option to rebook or wait. I wanted the option of rebooking but instead of allowing me to rebook I got a lecture on how it states in their forms which I haven’t seen nor have I signed anything stating anything about running 1.5 hours behind and something about if I was having surgery in the hospital and they were running behind I would have to wait. At that point I was furious as you really want to compare surgery at the hospital to dental work? Really??? I have medical issue that requires me to eat every couples of hours or my insides feel like it’s eating itself from the inside and I was already in pain from fasting and instead of being compassionate and rebooking me they were basically telling me I would have to wait. They also do not care about the fact that the person who needs to accompany you will now also have to wait over 5 hours as they are running behind plus my work time. She was so inconsiderate and lacked empathy that even though I think Dr. Golovanov is a fantastic dentist I will not return to that office.

Don’t know what happened to the last commenter but my family have been with Andrey since 2012 and won’t go anywhere else. Incredible dentist, great person, staff is efficient and friendly. Our granddaughter was terrified of dentists but after a visit here she has lessened her fear greatly.

This place is so unprofessional. I couldn't believe the amount of "gossip" and swearing I heard from the front desk during my appointment. Dr Golovanov is rude and always seems to be in a bad mood. The assistants however seem nice, friendly, and professional.

If you have anxiety at the very thought of going to the dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Golovanov. He is an exceptional dentist. The staff is friendly and helpful. In addition to performing great dental work, Dr. Golovanov is patient, understanding, caring and communicates in a way that will calm your nerves. I used anesthesia the first visit, and since then, I haven't felt the need to be sedated. My hygienist is amazing. I am way less anxious going to my dental appointments now. Highly recommend them.

Great dental clinic. Long-time client of well over 7 years. Clean office, extremely punctual appointments, the maximum I have ever waited was 5 mins. The receptionist knows that I prefer to communicate via email and she always accommodates me. Direct billing to my insurance was an important option for me and they have it . More importantly Doctor Golovanov is very skilled, knowledgeable and honest. At first impression he may be serious (my personal preference) but he really is conscientious, professional and caring. Dental health is important and I trust him and the rest of his team.

All good except the wait time, doctors personality and his customer service skills. Doesn't want to explain, doesn't really want to talk to you. Not impressed.

Our experience with Dr. Golovanov was very positive . Dr. Golovanov personally answer all our questions professionally and honestly giving us different options. Five stars for professionalism and personal skills. Reception was very friendly and helpful. They sorted out all details with my insurance company. We did not have to wait, so five stars for reception. Our R/ Nurse Ann was excellent. She gave my daughter a teddy bear for a present so all negativeness was taken away and transition to the doctor office for my kid
was nice and smooth. Five stars for our nurse. Nobody rush us home even we stayed 1 hour past after office closing. Great and professional team.

The professional skills may be good, but interpersonal skills are far lower than average. He never takes an extra minute to explain you something and if you ask questions and try to understand what's going on in your own mouth he gets irritated and impatient.
