As a new patient, I found Dr Bunn to unfriendly and uncaring about my needs. Absolutely no bedside manner with a new patient.

I had Dr. Bunn with my first child (I'm now pregnant with my second but no longer have HMSA) She I thought that she was a great doctor. When ever I had questions, I asked, and she answered. She was quick when I had my monthly appointments. Unfortunately she just happen to be away when the day I went into labor so I don't really know how she is during delivery. Dr. Sakaguchi? was the doctor who delivered my daughter and now that I'm pregnant with my second I would Dr. Sakaguchi that would help me deliver again because I know what to expect. I do remember I called Dr. Bunn freaking out about pin-worms and she called me within a couple of hours.
If you are looking for a doctor without all the fluff than Dr. Bunn is great. She's not overly friendly and dramatic and gets the job done but I know that if I had any questions or concerns she's there to help me.

My visit with Dr. Bunn was unfortunate. OB/GYN most often turns out to be "OB" with the GYN taking a back seat. I have had my children and am now in the position requiring GYN care. Dr. Bunn did not give the impression of wishing to spend her time with a GYN patient. She was brusque. I have taken my care needs to another physician.

Office staff is friendly and calls to schedule routine check ups. I feel doctor is knowledgable, but not punctual. I had a test/procedure done two weeks ago, and there has been no follow-up/phone call/letter to go over my results or to change my medication. It's hard to reach her and her office staff so I often need to leave a message with general receptionists. If I had no other options, I would probably stay with her, but I also want to feel important.

I've had multiple OB doctors before and not one has every satisfied my needs, until I met Dr. Bunn. When I first discovered that I was pregnant, I've researched all of the OB/GYN in Hawaii. Dr. Bunn was great, friendly, decent, caring, knowledgeable and sweet. I find it hard to have a doctor with all of those qualities. Throughout my pregnancy, she's been very attentive especially because I was a worry-wart! She gave a lot of great advice as well. She prescribed all the right medicine, diagnosed every single problem that I had, and answered all of my questions in detail. She is very ethical. I would also like to add that her nurses are nice and helpful. I was in labor for 26 hours and she would check up on me here and there. At the time of delivery, Dr. Bunn arrived within minutes of me pushing, took charge, and next thing you know...a beautiful AND healthy baby girl was born!

Dr. Bunn is so great. She's very nice and knowledgable. I trust her with my health and well being. She also makes you feel very comfortable, and is very patient when giving your diagnosis. If you have questions she will explain it until you TOTALLY got it.

Dr. Bunn is a terrific physician. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Actually speaks English well, which can be hard to find around here.
