Saw Dr Ablenkung for a ganglion. Very upfront about options. Successful surgery

Staff was in training, I had to wait over the appointed time to be called in. Dr. Blenkin is old school, not up to date with latest developments. He is prejudiced against people that claim work cover. Misinterpreted everything I said, issued a report that did not correctly reflected my condition. He also contacted work cover to give them his "professional" opinion about my condition. As a result, work cover stopped paying for my treatments due to condition being a result of "middle age" as explained in his words. I sought second opinion where I got proper treatment. Completely disgusted with his lack of professionalism. Considering reporting.

I could not recommend Dr Blenkin highly enough. I had such a holistic and courteous experience during my recent surgery both from Dr Blenkin and from his Secretary (Claire). Thank you.

Dr Blenkin is amazing! Removed a large thorn embedded in my finger which required surgery. Professional, kind and considerate. So happy with the result. Staff extremely helpful. Thank you Dr Blenkin. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I visited Chris around 2012 and had no success. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome by an upper limb surgeon and have had successful surgery and after almost 10 years I am finally starting to get my life back. TOS is a rare upper limb condition and I pray that next time someone comes in with similar symptoms that it’s picked up.

Disgusting so called specialist. Hardly examined me and clearly works for insurance companies best outcomes. A disgrace to his profession and ethical code.

I had a significant tear in my right rotator cuff in 2020 with a lot of pain and interference with sleep and difficulty lifting my right arm. I am not a WorkCover patient, I am just a private patient aged 49 with a nasty, non work related injury. Dr Chris Blenkin repaired the tear in surgery in March 2020. It is now November 2020, and I have complete recovery, full movement in my right arm, no 'hitching' of the shoulder, and zero pain. Dr Blenkin is a very experienced and senior surgeon, he is easy and straightforward to talk to and he gave me a very accurate and realistic timetable for my post surgery rehab period. The nursing staff at the hospital clearly respect him, and I know some other of his shoulder patients who have also enjoyed similarly excellent outcomes from his work. If you are looking for a very experienced specialist shoulder/hand orthopedic surgeon in Brisbane, I recommend Dr Blenkin to you without hesitation. I have no association or connection with him outside of being a private patient, and this is my honest experience of the successful surgical outcomes he was able to achieve for me. I recommend him unconditionally.

Seen this piece of s$&t for a work cover claim in 2017, the whole experience is definitely fresh in my mind and is concurrent with most of the other negative reviews.
The lowlife gave a very different prognosis I’m his report then he gave me in the actual consult.
Basically he lies for workcover and his report on my condition was much different to the other PROFESSIONAL reports I had
