I would have to agree with the other patients, she is always late! She is a decent doctor, I wouldn't call her great but decent. He weight wasn't a issue in the beginning for me.I did wonder how she could be a doctor and not be healthy. As one posting stated, her walls are thin - I overheard her tell one of her patients that they needed to lose weight. If that's not the pot calling the keetle black! If you decide to see this doctor, please bring lots of reading matieral or an ipod for the waiting room.

She is always late, had an appointment at 9:15 today, she informed her staff at 10AM she would not be there until 11AM....been using this doctor for over a year and she is always late. Plan on spending at least 4 hours at her office. Staff says she is late everyday, and they have to stay until 7 or 8PM because of it. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone as she has no concern for her patients time. I am finding another doctor.

Been going to her for 5 years, but no more. She is very thorough, as long as you stay off the pets topic. But she is ALWAYS WAY LATE!!! I lose an entire half day, most of it waiting because she is behind.

Amy is very nice but the woman is always running late and can never really focus while examining you. If you have pets or work with animals try to stay away from the subject. My appointments always run at least 2 hours long mostly just in waiting times. The office hours are very odd and they're always late in the office and running behind on appointments. Don't get me wrong, she is a nice woman, but I believe a doctor in her condition needs to take her own advice before she talks to other people about their weight. I dealt with this for 2.5 years and I'm done. I switched primary care providers this morning.

I have been seeing Doctor Friedenthal for over two years now. She is very sweet, very thorough, and very upfront. I will not judge her because of her weight. That is none of my conern and nor should it be anybody else's. For all you know, your doctor could be a heavy smoker, drinker..etc. and you might never know that information because it has to do with their personal life. The point is whether or not your doctor is giving you excellent patient care. Now with all of that being said, my major gripe is that she is CONSISTENTLY LATE to work which has been a huge inconvenience to her staff and her patients.

Sadly, I have to agree about the weight issue. She seems knowledgable enough, although I only went once while in search of a new doctor, never to return because I just had an issue with taking advice from someone who is so unhealthy herself.

Weigh was an issue... she is a very loud speaker and I could hear the patient in the next rooms information as I'm sure they could hear mine. Will not return

she is a good doctor but she is ALWAYS late and I do think her weight is part of the issue. She is sweet at some points and her staff is excellent, the MA has great phlebotomy skills. But I think her practice would be better if she took care of herself Literally !

I have been seeing Dr. Amy for a while my biggest problem is she is very overwieght and I just don't know how she can take talk about health when she can't take of herself. She is very sweet but I want her to take care of herself. I think her weight is the issue why she can't get to her patients because she is out of breathe. I am looking other places for a new doctor.

I had an issue on my last visit. There were no other patients besides me left to be seen before the lunch break and yet the doctor took a 30 minute lunch break and had me sit waiting. I will not return to this doctor.
