Wow. Kept trying to reach somebody at the front desk but they don't answer. Finally somebody answered with a quick "please hold" and was put on hold forever. Hung up and tried again, same thing. They really don't seem to want to answer the phone.

Staff is not friendly and borderline rude (except for AnnMarie at Landsdown). Dr. G tries to help with her toolbox of drugs but is not open to other ideas for treatment and literally ridiculed me when I brought up an alternative. Wait time is almost always 50 minutes to 1hr.

Don't go to this rheumatologist she is really bad and might cost you your life. Wife has Lupus now for 14 years. Wife was seeing this rheumatologist and is now going to stop. About 3 months ago wife had an appoint in rheumatologist office. The reason for appointment was that family noticed that wife brain seemed to be not working correctly. One depends on rheumatologist's to know what they are doing. Doctor said: Lupus does not damage the brain take her to the emergency room. Well we took her to emergency and they did not know what to do. We have news for this rheumatologist it does damage the brain and it is called: "lupus cerebritis". We joined a Lupus bulletin board and the first thing most said was have your rheumatologist get her antipsychotic medications, wife will need it bad... Thank God for NIH because they told us that wife would have died without treatment which in this case is Cytoxan (Chemo). This rheumatologist does not even know wife is going though this because she never follows-up...

Dr. G listened carefully to my problems and helped figure out things no other doctor did before. She was my 3rd rheumatologist and by far the best! This is a very busy practice because they are good doctors, you can go to the other ones I went to and be seen faster but it is not the same quality care.

I used Dr. Gospodinoff for 2 years whileI lived in Sterling. She was an amazingly wonderful doctor who did her best to make sure I was getting the best of care. She took my concerns into consideration when deciding on a treatment and we worked together to get my RA under control. Under her care my RA went into remission. When I moved to Ohio and found another doctor who wasn't as sympathetic, wouldn't read Dr. Gospodinoff's notes, and decided my treatment needed to be changed without any input from me taken into consideration, I have struggled with my RA again. I would do ANYTHING to go back to Dr. Gospodinoff!!! She cares about her patients, she knew me by name, she knew my situation and flat out cared about the outcome of her treatment. This is something most doctors are not interested in doing. Thank you Dr. Gospodinoff!!

I have been seeing Dr. G for about 7 yrs now. There has been quite an improvement in the attentiveness of the office staff in the past yr or so. I reviewed on another site a yr ago, and said that they can seem standoffish, but everyone is a good-hearted caring person, though they don't always make an effort to show it, & they really should because they can come off colder than they are. I think they are generally much warmer than they used to be. I know people there pretty well, as I have spent a lot of time in the office (I get infusions there) & they are helpful & responsive, & kind when you feel lousy. Dr. G also is responsive, & works to find treatment solutions that work for me. I feel she listens to my concerns & takes into account everything that is going on, not just rheumatological issues. I feel I am well looked after by her, & that she is bringing her full attention to my situation.
