Dr. Luthra is an excellent Doctor. I travelled from Canada to see him after being diagnosed with RA by my family doctor. He took tons of time with me to explain the disease and the different ways in which it could progress through my body. He was very thorough with ordering tests to ensure that I was not misdiagnosed. He was also very considerate of the fact that we travelled to see him from out of the country and made sure that I could get all of my tests/appoinments completed as soon as possible. He is willing to work/correspond with my family doctor here in Canada to help me with my treatment. I will be going back to see him on a yearly basis- the trip is well worth it for his care. I strongly recommend Dr. Luthra and the Mayo Clinic. I could not imagine receiving better care.

Dr Luthra has been my physician of record since 1982 when he correctly diagnosed my auto-immune disease when it wasn't very well known. I'd recommend Dr. Luthra to anyone.

This doctor totally missed my Autoimmune Disease! He is supposed to be an expert on this. I spent much time, money, and energy travelling to Mayo Clinic from out-of-state. He did not live up to his reputation. Therefore, Mayo Clinic did not live up to it's reputation either. After I returned home, I almost died. I lost 30 pounds and all of my muscle mass. I finally found a local doctor who diagnosed my Autoimmune Disease.
