This doctors office is awesome. McTammany is great. You have to have a sense of humor. I read some of the other comments and if you are a person who is sensitive and cant take a joke, then maybe he is not for you. He jokes alot. He tries to make you feel comfortable. I like the fact that I can go into his office with a list of questions and he sits there and answers every single question without making me feel like I am wasting his time. The whole staff is great. I highly recommend McTammany.

I would recommend him to anyone that is going to have a baby. He has the best bedside manner and personality. He is where he belongs and I couldn't ask for a better OB.

Reading any complaints about Dr. McTammany is shocking to me because I had a wonderful experience with him, as did others I know who were/are his patients. When I was 15 years old I seen him for a 1st time pregnany and an abnormal pap. He followed up with me making sure everything was ok and made me feel very comfortable. Although I miscarried at 3 months, he left a life time lasting impression. Where 10 years later for my 2nd pregnancy I hope he takes me on as his patient once more. He was a and I am sure still is a very professional, kind, patient, down to earth, funny, personable, knowledgable Doctor with years of experience. Not only did he answer all of my questions but he explained procedures and information without me asking. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

I normally don't complain, but I went to Dr. McTammany on the recommendation of a co-worker for a first time high-risk pregnancy. We had been trying to get pregnant for 7 years with no success. On the 1st meeting he asked my hubby if he was the guy who "knocked me up." Hubby was NOT pleased with his unprofessionalisim. Unfortunately,I experienced some heavy bleeding after 14 weeks. A friend of mine was also pregnant and shared the same experience. Her doctor kept her home on bedrest. Dr. McT told me I could return to work. Today my friend has a beautiful baby girl. I suffered a miscarriage the following week and lost my son. Several RN's that I work with expressed that it was INSANE that Dr. McT. sent me back to work so soon and that I, too, should have been on strict bedrest. Also, I had an abonormal pap reading at my first pregnancy exam. To date, (more than 7 months later) he has yet made an attempt to follow up on the abnormal reading. I took myself to another doctor!

The best doctor Ive ever had. I used him before my 1st pregnancy and continued him with my second. He answers every question I have had and has never left abrubtly for no apparent reason. Always asked me if I had any questions and never makes you feel uncomfortable. And he always listens to the patient. I still use him to this day and will continue to do so.

Dr. McTammany is an awesome, sincere and professional, kind Doctor, I wouldn't go to anyone else this is my second pregnancy and he is just great!!!! i would recommend him to anyone who wants a laid back, funny , caring doctor on there side who has a great knowledge of what he does for a living he is great my husband and i both just adore him!!!!!,and his staff are all great and caring people you walk in and you know you are just welcomed because they give you a good feeling evrytime, what can i say Dr. McTammany is the best in my book!!!!!!

He delivered my last two daughter's and was extremely laid-back and calming. He knows what has to be done and I felt very safe in his hands. He is very personable as well. I never felt uncomfortable or nervous in his care. We had two wonderful outcomes. Highly recommend, esp. if this is not your first pregnancy and your more relaxed and not so uptight!
