Dr. Ramos has been my doctor for more than 10 years. She treats me like family and always answers all my questions. Dr. Ramos and her staff are great, they are very professional and helpful to me at all times. I love that my appointments are always on schedule and I never have to wait to be seen. If I call Gloria for a prescription refill she always calls the pharmacy for me without any problems.

Dr. Ramos has been my PCP for 9 years now. I'm always greeted warmly by her staff at each visit. She always expresses compassion and concern for my health during my visits. Her knowledge helped me obtain a diagnosis that I could not obtain under the care of another PCP after 6 months of diagnostic testing. This is why she has remained by PCP. She has an extensive list of very good specialists who she's recommended me to. The wait time at her office is minimal. I can always count on being called into a room and being seen by Dr. Ramos quickly. She is very helpful in answering questions I have regarding my overall health or current health condition. I'm happy to know my PCP is smart, knowledgeable and caring.

I am very happy with the services received in the office of Dr Ramos. I am her patient for the past 15 years and I have no kind of problem with her ??or his employees. Many times she had to refer me to specialists and sent me to the best specialists in her circle of colleagues who have helped me a lot, thanks to the knowledge she has in her practice my health has improved thanks to her care and professionalism .

I wish I had read these reviews before going to see Dr. Ramos for the 2nd time. I agree with all of these comments. Dr. Ramos' bedside manner is harsh, abrupt, patronizing, unhelpful, rude, and dismissive. She does not encourage you to ask questions and if you do, she seems really annoyed as if you have no right to question your personal health. I understand that many NY Drs are pressed for time, but she takes it too far. I would not ecourage anyone that is looking for a Dr that is caring and helpful to seek her out. I've never had any major issues so I don't know if her knowledge is strong on medical matters. She really knows how to make someone feel uncomfortable so if you need someone that has patience, I would not recommend being her patient. I'll be posting the same comments on my insurance carrier's website as a warning for others. There is no reason that one should have to put up with her demeanor in a city that has some of the best Drs in the world.

I respected Dr. Ramos as a Latina doctor and chose her, in part, due to her close proximity to my job. The most positive thing that I can say is that the doctors she knows and refers are pleasant and professional, and there's little wait time when seeing her. Unfortunately, after seeing her for approximately 8 years and having referred a couple of people, I must report some of the same experiences listed here. Both she and her assistant are very rude and condescending. They lack the sophisication and non judgmental sensitivy that one would expect to be a basic standard at any Dr's office. About 5 minutes into an appointment, I was told "I don't have time." I too have been asked "well, what do want me to do about it?" There have been issues with their referral process that lead to me being away from my work unecessarily for hours, when all they had to do was place a call. My frustration was met with insults. As a result, I will never visit Dr. Ramos, nor anyone she's referred.

Go and see Dr. Ramos if you want to feel like a number and an inconvenience. Not to mention the fact that as part of the paper work you fill out, you have to agree that you'll be charged the full amount of your appointment if you don't give at least 24 hours notice of cancellation. We played phone tag for three weeks for her to be able to give me test results, and when she finally got me on the phone, she acted like she was annoyed to talk to me. Most recently, I caught a stomach bug while traveling, and when I simply wanted to call her to talk about my symptoms to see if what I was experiencing was normal, she cut me off and said "Of course it isn't normal, that is why you are calling me. I guess you can see me, or else I'll reccomend someone else you can go to." She is rude, her staff is condescending, she makes you feel like you are an inconvenience. DON'T GO SEE HER.

I am very happy with Dr Ramos and thinks she's the best. I've been seeing her now for at least 7 years, mostly for physicals, but she's always been great with me. She was also great with my wife when I was married and even after my marriage ended, she showed concern and inquired about my emotional and mental health. At this point I would not see anyone else.

"Dr." Ramos only wants your money. She dosn't care about your help, you feel rushed in her office. GLoria her receptionist is RUDE just as her boss is. Dr. Ramos was nasty to me when I called to ask about my father's prescription, she asked me "why are you calling me", "do you hear me???why are you calling me?" It was a weekend, my dad had an infection, English is his second language and needed his meds. I called on his behalf and instead of just writing down the pharmacy # I wanted his meds to be faxed to, she questioned my judgement in calling her. She did not care about her patient, she hung up at me and told me NOT to call her AGAIN. Yeah, very professional. She does GREAT DISSERVICE to the latin community. Those awards, are taking up space in her office.
