Not sure why the negative reviews, Dr Kohli is now practicing n Edmonton at Physiologix MD clinic.. Had appt Mar 20, 2023 for nerve pain in feet. Dr was personable, spent more than a hour doing various tests, explaining the process, reason for the specific tests, and resultant diagnosis. Dr never rushed through any portion of the exam or the questions we had; Never felt we were being “dismissed” or that our concerns were trivial. Dr Kohli presented as a pleasant, knowledgeable person who was genuinely concerned and interested in the case at hand.
Our experiences with Dr Kohli were positive on all aspects and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to family or friends.

Saw him in 2017 during a bit of a stressful time and had concerns that in hindsight were of little concern but at that time were quite bothersome to me, he was professional and pleasant as was his wife and they both treated me with respect and honesty.

I've been trying to reach Dr. Kholi for quite some time now. I had no idea he moved to the US, and was NOT transferred to another neurologist. This is very irresponsible of not only Dr. Kholi, but the College of Physicians and Surgeons.

I saw Dr. Kohli on Feb 2021 and he diagnosed me with severe migraine. He prescribed me several medications which due to hard side effects, I could not bear them, so the final decision was the Botox therapy. but since he didn't send my insurance paperwork to the right insurance company (despite my clear notes about my insurance) this therapy was missed for me (after a month waiting for response from insurer I followed up myself and found out about the mistake!) and he moved to US and send me to another neurologist. I still struggle with harsh headaches after one year and have no one to be responsible for this poor service.
If you need to consult him, you need to leave a message on his voicemail and hopefully you will hear back in one or two weeks! their office work, paper works, follow ups are all terrible. I definitely not recommend his service, even maybe he has the knowledge, but you will be in endless challenge to find someone to be responsive to you!

My initial experience walking into the office was not great, I was “greeted” with a sense of annoyance from the lady at the front desk. The young man also sitting at the front counter did not add to my confidence as he looked like he had just rolled out of bed and professionalism was not a requirement.

I arrived 15 mins early as directed to fill out the paperwork. I was the first appointment of the day, which was set for 8am. Sitting and waiting, at 8:10 I could hear Dr. Kohli make a phone call, which lasted 15 minutes. Having rushed my children out the door that morning earlier than usual and driving 45 minutes to make this appointment, I was not impressed at the lack of respect of my time considering there would be a fee of i did not show up to my appointment.

Once in the appointment it became apparent that my referral had had very little review ahead of time and required a full review of what was going on, of which I’m happy to do, especially if the specialist has taken the time to pre read and understand what has already been presented.

The explanations I was given were very high level with little further investigation and most of the insight came from the work I had already completed in my own.

This was my first time visiting a Neurologist, I wouldn't say this was the best of experiences in comparisons to other Specialists I have seen. Prior to my appointment I was asked to fill out paperwork in regards to medical history and also the reason for my visit. Dr. Kohli did the required physical assessments and then further asked about my concerns. I addressed only 1 of 3 major concerns I had (which I had also listed on the mandatory paperwork they asked me to fill). After the first concern was addressed with mediocre explanations and then I was immediately rushed, my question now is, what was the point of me filling out that form if all my concern were not going to be addressed? The lack of professionalism left me with a bitter taste and I didn't even bother asking about the other 2 major problems. Having completed his residency and training at a reputable Hospital like Mayo Clinic, it goes without saying he should have learnt the minimal decency to address all the concerns a patient may have with utmost professionalism and care. I will not be returning to him and will be looking for a different neurologist.
