I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Laakmann, he is very professional, knowledgeable, and always so helpful. Without him I would not have had many years of pain-free feet, for this I am so grateful. The office is friendly, and Maria is always so efficient and cheerful. We are very lucky to have this first-class podiatry treatment available in Vancouver - I highly recommend them.

I have been seeing Dr Laakmann for 12 years or more now. He has been unbelievable in helping me with my foot where other professionals could not. I have seen more than one orthopaedic surgeon, orthotists and others and there has just been no real options and no idea of what to do. So each time I come back to him and he tweets some more and tries some other options and it has been amazing. So appreciate his time, knowledge, suggestions, solutions and care that has made a huge difference to me being able to be more active and less pain and cope with life. So great - thank you

This doctor was a waste of my time and money. I came in with swollen foot and ankle. He sent me for an X-ray which was inconclusive. He suggested an ankle wrap, which I bought and used with no difference in swelling and soreness. And he also prescribed a medication that didn’t work. When I asked him what the diagnosis is, he suggested an MRI. This doctor clearly had no interest in helping me...and I certainly did not view him as knowledgeable...waste of time and money.

Dr. Laakmann was amazing. He fixed my in grown nail from a bad job from another doctor, and was very kind and patient. He saw me on time and explained everything. Completely froze the to properly, could not feel a single bit of the procedure, nor see it. Overall one of the best medical experiences I've had.

After years of physio, Dr. Laakmann was able to diagnose my problem almost immediately. I had x-rays, MRI and bone scans done right away; he laid out all my options and helped me choose the right one. I'm so glad that I went private, as I could not have chosen a better surgeon. He has been there every step of the way, from pre-surgery all the way through a fairly tough recovery. I got back to running much sooner than I ever imagined, all thanks to him. He is understanding, listens to my problems, and encourages me to push myself. I can't say enough good things about him.
