Ryder's Vega machine and his potions are nothing short of voodoo in my opinion. It's snake oil. If people want to believe they work, well it will for some. That's the beauty of the mind.

He made no mention that he's the "last stop" and if he can help (or not). I find him exploitative and even belligerent when challenged.

As far as getting the contents of these little brown bottles assayed? Well, let's just say the science speaks for itself. Not recommended.

I have read many of the comments below. He has been very clear at the outset with both myself and a friend that I referred, that he is the 'last stop.' He was very clear that at the outset whether he thought he could help or not, and that I had tried all other avenues. He didn't want to see my friend until after he had explored all the regular procedures. As for the comments about the cost of his homeopathic meds, his meds are actually quite cheap compared to others in my experience. My story: he was VERY helpful to me decades ago when I was very sick.. and when a different though related set of sx appeared several years ago, I went back when I heard that he had gone back into homeopathy. I find him to be a sincere practitioner. Efficacy this time around? He has definitely helped with clarifying my food sensitivities, though not 100%. I find I still react slightly to some things he says should be OK. The placebo effect can't account for everything :) I have been gradually getting better over the summer while seeing him... do I ascribe the results to GR? For me this has not been a costly experience, relatively... I will continue to see him but on a less frequent basis and see where this goes. Overall... positive forward direction. I could mention several anecdotal stories where I really think his meds resulted in a sudden improvement. I don't typically give reviews, but after the negative views some have stated below, though I would give my 2 cents :)

I think he's a quack. His methods remain unproven in North America and seem to be based on the placebo effect.

Not vaxxed, not helpful.

Provides "German" based clear, odourless and tasteless "remedies" in small ~30 ml dark brown bottles at around $20 each. They seem to work like a sugar pill in my experience and Dr. Ryder won't reveal the actual ingredients.

He uses a "special" machine from Germany that tests your skin as you hold a cylinder shaped object connected to the machine. He alleges he can detect (based on the machine and the vitamin or medication bottle you bring) if you're tolerant of the medication. Again, this is non-verifiable and he keeps on saying the machine is from Germany.

Ironically, for someone who's so "health" conscious and alleges he can't get vaxxed because he has a brain tumour, his office is directly underneath a cellular mobile tower.

We were desperate. We should've followed the science surrounding homeopathy and saved money and hoped he could help.

GR seems to be informed with the literature on which supplements are proven to be beneficial/helpful (for the most part). He told us which ones to discard, but my physician and naturopath disagrees with his choices.

Finally, Ryder is not without imperfections. He's terribly opinionated. His clear-like water remedies are proprietary and effectively tasteless. We have no idea what the ingredients are. His unorthodox methods and remedies are questionable in their efficacy compared to a placebo. He's no longer a licensed MD (physician) and is not registered as a licensed MD with the BC College of Physicians.

Dr. Ryder is by far THE best practitioner my family has had the pleasure of dealing with. Even with last minute “emergencies” he always fits us in. My kids even look forward to their visits with him.

I spent several months going to him for watery stool. Was treated for toxicity, bacterial stomach infection and parasites etc. My wallet was lighter but problem still there. Turns out my hemoglobin was 66 and after going to ER they discovered a large tumour in my colon. Colorectal cancer, had to get removed as my colon was almost completely blocked. Never once did he suggest I get a f.i.t. rest from my dr.
