I have seen Dr. Vantrease for over 10 years and have always found her to be knowledgeable and kind. I like that I can also see Dr. Schutte now too, if Dr. Vantrease in not available. But I do prefer Dr. Vantrease. I started seeing her years ago for a second opinion on a medical diagnosis, and she gave me a correct diagnosis right away, so I decided she was a keeper! :)

I have seen Dr. Vantrease for 15-16 years....she treats myself, my children (since they were newborns and myself since 17) my parents, and my grandparents as well as my aunts. I highly recommend her. I have never found her to be rude. She has always been caring and made me feel well cared for. Yes she has reduced hours now but she is human too and life changes. I would recommend her to anyone. And yes I am a nurse so I know a good doctor when I see one!

I completely agree with the two negative reviews. She is very aloof and condescending. I believe she is knowledgeable, but the poor bedside manor is an important factor to consider. I am very disappointed in her for various reasons as I have known her for many, many years. Quite an ego problem which is something an ill person does not need to cope with. An Atheist which distracts from her practice of medicine.

We have seen her for years. As of late, her reduced schedule makes it difficult to see her. This doesn't seem to concern her at all. It creates an additional hardship for my family to adjust our schedules to accomodate "hers". She is friendly, but aloof. I find her more sarcastic, than condascending and ven that's a bit much. She does not follow through and doesn't appear genuinely concerned about patient's concerns. That's causing me to rethink keeping her as our physician.

Dr. Van grease is the best doctor I have had. She is very professional and is genuinely kind. I have gone to her for over 10 years now and have never had a bad experience. She is fabulous! I would and have recommended her to many people.

Dr. VanTrease is the best PCP I've ever had! I rarely wait to be seen longer than 10 minutes at her office, and her staff is always very nice. Dr. Vantrease always asks questions and makes sure she covers anything you need before you leave your appointment. I'd reccomend her to anyone!

I have been going to Dr. Vantrease for a long time. She has a wonderful bedside manner, and makes you feel comfortable. I feel I can discuss anything with her. Her staff is very pleasant also. I'm glad she is close to my area.

I found Dr. Vantrease to be very thorough, very well-informed and friendly. She made me feel comfortable. I had seen another doctor for the exact same issue a few weeks previously and that doctor's exam was very superficial compared to that of Dr. Vantrease. I am very happy to have found Dr. Vantrease.
