I was visited by Dr. Dahl for the first time on November 30/2021.I am 71 years old , diabetic. He is unique, knowledgeable and professional who puts his patients at ease. I cannot find any word to thank him. He is exceptionally dedicated . He is the best Dr. I have ever visited. Thank you Dr. Dahl for being so perfect. You are surely exceptional and unique. I cannot find any word to explain my gratitude toward you . So I just say a big THANK YOU.

The receptionist can hang up quickly due to busy/spam calls, if you don't respond. Which is something for me but I get their perspective.

Dr. Dahl is absolutely the best. So humble, kind and goofy at times. Definitely, someone that I will look up to! If I needed to adjust my dose, he'll do it and respects your privacy.

I originally intended to negatively rate the Internist I had seen prior to Dr. Dahl, but instead felt better about illustrating my gratitude for Dr. Dahl.

For context, I had spent over a decade on heavy doses of opioid pain meds to manage a unique genetic disease, only to discover several months ago that some of the worst symptoms I was experiencing were due to the resulting interruption in my ability to produce hormones (opioids will do that apparently . )
With this new understanding, I requested a consultation with endocrinology to resolve the matter with testosterone replacement therapy. ,

Sadly, the first Dr. I saw completely ignored my symptoms, their severity, my genetic disease, my impending amputation, everything… made me feel dismissed as a “drug seeker”, and instructed me to simply “stop taking pain meds and come back in n 9 months to see if there was any improvement.”

This forced me to use black market testosterone while desperately seeking a second opinion all while facing the immediate loss of my arm.

While recovering at the hospital, Dr. Dahl was a literal life saver, took one look and immediately wrote the necessary prescription. I can’t even imagine trying to get through that experience AND having to rely on black market drugs are the same time, or worse, blindly following the initial asinine and dangerous advice of my first referral.

Dr. Dahl has taken a keen, professional and compassionate approach in all subsequent follow-up consultations. I am especially grateful for everything he has done for me, and can’t recommend him enough. Hi

I was nervous before my appointment, due to carrying trauma from some bad experiences with doctors in the past. Dr Dahl is incredibly kind and gentle and caring. I felt so safe with him. His care was patient-centred (e.g. asking for consent and making it clear that I could say no). He is a very competent doctor and he took the time to explain things to me. He made a treatment plan that I am comfortable with, and said that he is available (even in between our scheduled appointments if needed). He is a wonderful doctor!

I am a family physician referred my patients to Dr. Dahl and what an amazing doctor he is! He takes such good care of them, does comprehensive care, excellent listener, and extremely knowledgeable. He had also been very kind and patient with all my patients including those who were socially very difficult, I would refer my own mother to him. Thanks Dr. Dahl!

Dr.Dahl destroyed me. In my first visit he changed all of my medications, then when I went back a month later , I had already gained 20 lbs! When I got up the courage to tell him I was concerned about my sudden weight gain (I have a metabolic disease), he laughed and told me to talk to whomever was cooking for me!!!!! Completely shaming me into not standing up for myself. His arrogance and carelessness lead to him completely dismissing my concerns leading to me gaining 40 lbs in 2 months. He then never followed up to adjust or monitor any of the new medications and because he had started me on a super low dose of the new meds I subsequently had a major endocrine crash and ended up severely depressed for months before my regular Dr figured out what was wrong. A year later I have managed to drop 10 lbs of the new 40 I gained. None of my clothes still really fit, I can’t afford to buy a whole new wardrobe, slowly coming out of the depression with the help of many different specialists. This has been a devastating year that has put me backwards in my social, family and work environments. Bottom line, he is an arrogant self important Dr, and I would avoid at all costs.
