Dr. Govert is very knowledgeable and he'll let you know that he is. He is rude and in your face. I appreciate openness and honesty but he treated me like a teenager that stole their parents car and crashed it. He made me feel like my condition was my fault. He has no people skills.

Don't allows believe these trumped up reviews. My experience could not have been further from those of others that bothered to review this provider. Brash, rushed and rude are the words that come to mind. While I'm sure he felt like he took the time to listen to my issues he was dismissive and rude. His bedside manner was rushed and I felt like a12y/o being punished for not having all the right answers when asked. We came to him for answers and information. I left feeling no more informed that talking with my local mechanic about my health. Thanks for not educating yourself about my situation and for not bothering to be the "5" star doctor your sheeple patients claim you to be. Careful what you read about providers. Each experience is different and more than likely this post and testing will be pulled in order to leave the less than jaded opinion about this supposed "wonderful" provider. He is not always wonderful. At least this review allows me to be honest about this infallible person. Typical Duke provider 😕 so full of themselves.

Dr Govert is the best. He is kind caring and takes time with you. He knows his stuff and I would recommend him to anyone....he's good. Thanks for taking care of me when I needed your care.

Dr. Govert took care of my medical needs while in ICU and while recuperating in the surgery unit for seven days in December,2014 after having complications from another procedure. I ended up with pneumonia and a collapsed right lung and he provided excellent care, listened to my needs and was a great communicator. I would highly recommend Dr. Govert.

dr govert saved my life. i was on life support for 34 days in a coma,after aspirating in the recovery room following a hip replacement. while in a coma dr govert took care of me and his decisions saved my life.
