Dr Erbella had his own practice now. His office is located inside Manatee Memorial Hospital, just around the corner from the old location listed here.
He is kind and funny if you want him to be. He is stern and serious if you want him to be. How ever you treat him is how he will treat you, to a point. I saw him for four years due to complications from my rectal cancer surgeries. He's a great doctor. He took great care of me. He knows his limits, and refers to other Drs as he needs to. I find this extremely important in a Dr. The staff is friendly, and the wait times aren't too bad. Try to get an appt right after lunch. You're in good hands with Erbella and his staff.

First things first, He’s a very down to earth nice Guy. Secondly, I had my Gallbladder removed (Cholecystectomy) Laprascopically by him. Dr. Erbella made one VERY small incision through my Belly Button that you can not even see. I’m a Med-Surg Nurse and see these every day, I was VERY impressed. I would not recommend anyone other than Dr. Erbella! (I know a lot of surgeons) He’s the best!

I will try to refrain from typing a novel as this was a very emotional surgery for me. Dr. Jose Erbella did a phenomenal job on my lumpectomy last week. His bedside manner is unparalleled, and his thorough consultation before and after surgery instantly put me at ease. He worked a miracle, and I don't believe anyone will ever even be able to see the scar because of his precision and attention to detail. If anyone is looking for a surgeon in Bradenton I highly recommend you go see Dr. Jose Erbella. I trusted him instantly which is not common for me, and I thank him and his staff for such excellent care and talent in the medical field. From the first appointment to my follow up care, I have never been treated so kindly by a doctor in my life. Thanks again! <3

My experience with Dr. Erbella has been the most positive experience I have ever had with a medical professional. He expertly treated my perforated colon using laparoscopic techniques that avoided the need for a colostomy bag.

Dr. Erbella took great care to explain the procedure to my wife and I. His confidence is addictive and he delivered as promised.

Dr. Erbella and his assistant Jill Nash P.A. are not only exceptional medical professionals, they are caring, understanding and empathetic human beings that others should try to be.
