Dr. Egan is okay. But, to all the doctors at this office, you need to work harder with your staff that deals with patients and teach them how to be more pleasant. Office is not properly managed. I have always felt their rudeness every time I have to visit. Also, you can forget about using the phone for this office. You will never be able to talk to anyone...just voice messages. They need a better patient's relations staff desperately.

I have been seeing Dr. Egan for many years and she is a very sweet and caring lady. She always takes time to listen and helps out in any way she can. I've read some of the post about the staff and I feel that sometimes the get dealt a bad hand. i know from going to Dr. Egan and because of the demand for her her schedule is very overloaded at no fault of the staff. I have witnessed patients expecting them to do things that only Dr. Egan can make decisions on. I appreciate them greatly and all that they do.

So, I pulled this site up and saw raving reviews for Dr. Egan for treatment of newly diagnosed lupus. I spoke with two staff members and they were the rudest I've ever dealt with. Its unfortunate. I feel badly that Dr.Egan is so talented but has such rudeness and detouring staff. Re-training is needed for the person who schedules new patients. She made me even sicker as she spoke so rudely on the phone to me.

There are a total of 6 doctors in this medical practice and Dr. Egan is by far the best ever. Be glad you get to be seen by HER. Office Staff is does try to work with patients, ask if in doubt about a better appt. time or a specific. I have and have been moved up, accomodated, helped.

Dr. Egan is a great doctor. She takes the time to listen to you and not just brush off issues that concern you. On the other hand I have had to sit and wait because my appointment was canceled and I did not do it. I first was told there was nothing they could do, even though it was their mistake. I have had to call numerous times to get important documents completed, and even had to have things re-faxed due to the staff losing the documents. I am not sure Dr. Egan is aware that these things are happening. I don't think I have ever had such a hard time working with a medical staff in order to get things taken care of promptly.

Dr. Egan is excellent, best in the business. Staff is terrible, the place never runs on tme. Staff members are rude and give the impression they could care less about the patient - it is hard for me to even be civil to these people except that I get to see Dr. Egan

Dr. Egan is a tremendous doctor. I have been a patient for over 15 years. In the last year or so the staff has gotten awful! They don't call in my scripts, or return my calls in a timely way. When I called the Office Manager to complain, my appointment got "accidentally" deleted from the computer. They were unapologetic and wouldn't work me in. I had to make a new appt. which was 4 months later! Luckily I got in sooner with a cancellation appointment. I am considering changing docs, but don't want to leave Dr. Egan . . . I don't know what I will do yet. I will probably try and talk to her and make her aware of the problems. If she isn't already!

DR. RITA EGAN IS A VERY GOOD DR., BUT, HER STAFF IS VERY RUDE, CALLED TO CHANGE AN APPOINTMENT, DUE TO SURGERY, RECEP., DIDN'T LOOK FOR ANOTHER APPOINTMENT, SINCE I WORK IN DRS. OFFICE W-5 DRS. I KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES TO LOOK AND SEARCH FOR APPOINTMENTS. I HOPE MY STAFF NEVER TREAT ANY OF OUR PTS. THE SAME WAY YOUR RECEP. TREATED ME!!! AND WE SEE 150-200 PTS. A DAY.
