I'm sad that Bent Creek Internal Medicine closed and that they her new clinic doesn't accept health insurance.

She closed her practice to open a pay as you go practice. The staff was not cooperative in transferring records.

Dr. Wiggins Smith is phenomenal. Her care has improved my quality of life. She listens carefully and asks probing questions to make sure she understands. She has looked at my care from multiple angles and tackled nutritional diet issues that other docs just shrugged away. She looks for the source of symptoms rather than just applying a band-aid medication that will only provide temporary relief. She is an example of how medicine should be practiced...with compassion, patience, persistence and integrity.

Dr Smith is a rare find in a sea of Dr's. She actually takes time to listen to you, the patient. Most dr's are just concerned about paying the bills. Dr Smith is so thorough and isn't afraid to order to all the necessary (and unnessary) testing to figure out what's going on with her patients and for your peace of mind. She is very caring, knowledgeable, gives the patient options, thorough and goes beyond the average doctor in so many ways. I highly recommend her to everyone!!

Dr. Smith was so thorough and came up with meds that could improve my quality of life and changed some that I agreed with. Very unassuming but very knowlegeable and listened intently to what I was saying and asked questions.

She had more knowledge than specialist when "not to release” from hospital. Specialist made comment Dr. Smith should have released you 2 days ago... next day problems, 3 days later mega problems & tx'd to Pittsburgh for emergency surgery. Thank God she didn't bow down to this specialist! We have a whole new respect for Doctor Smith :)
