Sarah Forsyth treated my teen son for a sports related injury and was incredibly helpful in a very complicated to navigate medical system. She advocated for him and pushed to get him a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. We are so incredibly fortunate to have had her as a doctor and thankful for her expertise, care and follow through.

Working with Dr. Forsyth and the team at Footbridge Centre for Integrated Orthopaedic Care has completely transformed my athletic career. In my early 20s I was caught in a cycle of high performance triathlon followed by very low energy and I felt frustrated that I wasn't able to perform at a high level consistently. I started working with Dr. Forsyth and was diagnosed with RED-S. At first, it was challenging to trust the recovery process as it felt counterintuitive but the team at Footbridge were incredibly supportive. The team took the time to share their knowledge about the damage of overtraining and undereating, and with the help of the team I have made leaps and bounds in the last 1.5 years. I am proud to return to sport now and have even surprised myself by being faster and stronger than before. Most importantly, I am grateful that I can return with confidence that I am training in a way that is sustainable for my body in the long term. I can't thank the team at Footbridge enough for helping me get to this point!

I started working with Dr. Sarah Forsyth at Footbridge Centre for Integrated Orthopaedic Care for a lower limb injury that stopped me running for months... that visit (and a series of follow ups) changed my life!

In my younger days, I was a national level athlete/high level runner. As I stepped into my 20's and 30's injuries accumulated, mental health suffered, and found myself in a vicious circle of being on-off running, and in-and-out of PT offices. That combined with a severe case of RED-S, made a mean case
for runner's heart-break every time performance peaked (and fell subsequently). Yet, at no point, I had a place like Footbridge Centre for Integrated Orthopaedic Care that I could get help from professionals like sports meds, sports dieticians, and orthopaedic experts.

Dr. Forsyth, combined with her network at this clinic, got me out of the RED-S rot and slowly build me up to full and sustainable health. I finally got my strength back to get back into running and in my first race, after being injury free for months, I completely CRUSHED my records and set a PB.

Her level of knowledge, experience, and most importantly care about the patience... and meeting the patient where they are at, is next to none.

I don't know where I would end up in life had I not have the privilege of working with Dr. Forsyth at the Integrated Orthopaedic Care Centre.

After spending years dealing with symptoms of RED-S and being brushed off by other doctors, I was fortunate enough to see Dr. Forsyth. I can’t speak highly enough of her. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, but she truly cares about her patients. I’m so grateful to be under her care.

Dr. Forsyth is an absolutely superb physician and sports doctor. Extremely knowledgeable. Good chance she'll quote current literature from memory during your appointment. Super thorough. She proactively follows up by email, and answers questions by email, which is pretty much unheard of for doctors. I'm very surprised to see other reviewers have described her as rushed or unhelpful. That hasn't been my experience at all. She's no-nonsense and there won't necessarily be a lot of idle small-talk but, for my part, I appreciate how focused she is on the injury/problem and how to fix it. It's clear she cares deeply about her patients. She recently emailed me at 8am on a Saturday morning to check in and see how my medication was working. Legend of a doctor in my view.

Sara was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She was patient, caring and showed tremendous empathy in helping me get out of a rut following RED-S. She is one of the best doctors I’ve ever worked with, very thankful to have her help and guidance.

Recently I was referred to for my complete ACL tear and she recommended not to have a surgical reconstruction. This may be true as my knee is pretty healthy but she was not ready to explain in detain why and after a point, she was behaving as if I am an idiot. I am concerned a out long term for my knee and when asked if I can ski, etc.. she said try it out.. if it breaks and then come to me.. Totally irresponsible and terrible response. Wont recommend to anyone even if she may be multi-speciality doctor as she can leave you depressed.

Dr. Sara Forsyth is an outstanding doctor, going out of her way beyond the scope of her practice for the wellbeing of her patients. I’m so grateful for her role in my recovery from RED-S, and injury rehab. She is a truly gifted practitioner.

It was a pleasure seeing Dr. Forsyth for my knee. She was helpful, kind, caring, knowledgeable and genuinely listened to the concerns I had. She drained my knee, gave me a cortisone shot, sent me for bloodwork and recommended an MRI scan, which I had a month later. Dr. Forsyth went above and beyond by emailing me updates on my bloodwork and promptly responded to any questions and concerns. Amazing. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends.

Terrible doctor. Very short and cold with her communication. For example: if you had a mild illness she’s the type of doctor that would tell you you’re dying so she can get you out the door. Its very sad that we have people like that in our medical system. Less bragging about your marathons Sara and more efforts on helping people.
