I went to another migraine clinic as well as several drs and neurologists in the area before finally finding Dr. Sorin. I've had migraines since I was about 10 years old. The last 7-8 years they increased in frequency until I had fairly constant migraines and tension headaches before receiving Botox injections. I think I've tried every medication out there since many were quick to prescribe meds assuring me that 'this one will work'. When I met Dr. Sorin in 2018 I felt like he truly cared about me and heard me. I didn't feel like a number being rushed through the office (unlike the other migraine clinic). He saw things my other neurologists didn't, listened and carefully explained things so we could develop a treatment plan including proactive steps to avoid triggers. My treatment has evolved over the years but I'm always involved in treatment planning. He has a great team of comprehensive, in-house providers to provide additional headache treatments. Everyone I've met gives excellent care and a warm, personal touch. They also automatically enrolled me in medication programs that pay for the copays. I recommend Dr. Sorin and his team every time someone says they have headaches.

For me, finding the "right"/helpful neurologist was daunting. I experienced traumatizing and violating encounters with 2 neurologist prior to meeting Dr. Sorin. The professionalism, attention to detail, communication and efficiency was NOTHING compared to the stellar care I felt from Dr. Sorin and his team. I felt heard for the very first time. I was involved in treatment planning. I was offered active and proactive new care approaches to best suit my unique situation. This was a life altering pivot point for me and my overall health status! Dr. Sorin continues to build his team by providing well trained comprehensive care providers. This offers patients excellent robust wraparound care. I receive consistent excellent care from all I encounter- Dr. Sorin, nurses, NPs/PAs, therapist, front desk, Acute Care staff & techs. I (along with my family who have been on this difficult journey with me) are so very thankful for Dr. Sorin and the entire team.

I used to 💜 dr.sorin!! I thought that he liked me too!! Well he told me that I was one of his favorite patients!! Then I started asking them why I was being charged 500+ dollars!! Then Heather the billing lady had huge attitude!!! So I had received a phone call from heather wanting my cc info so that way they could set up a payment plan!! Oh heck naw that wasn’t about to go down!! They are crazy to think that they will get thier money now!!’ So I then told her that I was thinking about going to a different neurologist!! So them @ my next appointment they got me really loopy!! While I was on the happy juice the dr came in to do my Botox!! Then he broke up with me!!! Just like that he was done and apparently so was I!!!! I mean it is ok dr’s office!!! of you are prepared to spend a lot of $$ and not l ow what it is for them this is the place for you!! If you are budget rearing like I am them you would probably ask what all you are being charged for!! Apparently this is a no go @ this office!!! Also I met with a new neurologist and they told me about this program that Botox has that they will pay for your copay’s!! It is a service that is from Botox!!!!! No one ever said anything to me about this program!!!

I've been patient of Dr. Sorin's (and Sarah Freeman) for many years. I cannot express how knowledgable, supportive and partnering they have been on my tough and complex neurological journey. Prior to meeting Dr. Sorin, I was really struggling with other neurologist who were quick to prescribe meds and slow to actual listen to context and my concerns. Dr. Sorin takes time to listen, share thoughts and discuss, TOGETHER, a plan/options moving forward. I'm so grateful for he and his team. I feel truly CARED FOR.

The doctors in this office are amazing. First rate service for all my headache issues. My bill has gone up this year as well. It is called a deductible. I suggest those who complain about getting a medical bill either vote for Bernie or move to England. I do not work for free, I don't know why it is expected that they should?

I've been seeing Dr. Sorin for almost a year, and have noticed my bills going up, not down even though my deductible has been met. I also did a line item review with my insurance company who explained than the cost listed is what the doctor charges for a particular procedure, such as migraine. The agent went on to explain that my contracted rate (what I owe against said cost) has nothing to do with my plan type, but rather is the negotiated rate the doctor has with the insurance company. They also explained that while his quality of care rating may be good, his cost efficiency rating is poor. The agent was kind enough to email me a list of neurologists with high ratings in both categories. Lastly, we noticed that Dr. Sorin is charging for procedures he never administered on me...with every visit! I'm still waiting on his billing department to call me back. Ironically, his scheduler said "good luck getting them on the phone". Seriously? How is this not insurance fraud. The insurance agent actually said the additional charges (while large to me) aren't high enough to raise a red flag, but he could be making a fortune is this is routine with all his patients because most don't question what they are billed!

I have been dealing with migraines for over a decade. I had a concussion in 2006. Tried all medications, even marijuana. Was hooked on Narcotics for years. Was hooked on narcotics when I first came to the headache clinic. The doc is a straight shooter. Tells you how it is. After being programmed for years to think I was suffering with migraines he had a different view. I despised this man, but left with no choice, I followed his direction. I am a new man. They are very strict but care

Well Run. All providers are amazing; innovative Multidisciplinary approach. This clinic offers a team approach; what I expected from Mayo, I found in my own backyard.

I am writing this rating in response to the one posted on Sept 16, 2017. First, I would like to begin by stating I have been a patient of Dr. Sorin's for 8+ years. He has helped me a great deal and has never given up on my chronic migraines. He has kept me hopeful along my journey which to me is the most important aspect of our partnership and figuring out what works best for me. I have suffered for over 23 years and been to every type of a specialist. From headache institutes outside Dallas to several top neurologists specializing in migraines in DFW area.....along with pain specialists. You name it I have tried it!! From a nerve stimulator to every preventive med available to even getting addicted to Butalbital (all before Dr. Sorin) due to rebound headaches. So, most days there are not enough words for me to thank Dr. Sorin and his staff; however, I have had occasional nightmare problems with a staff member here or there or billing issues over the years. And at this moment I am not very happy with Dr. Sorin himself and will speak to him when I see him next. He has a reason behind all he does, and I often only need to speak with him further, which I have learned through my years of working with him. I do know if one of my "BAD" experiences like this past week happened on my second visit for Botox it would have been very upsetting to me. In fact, I would be just like July 4th and I am sorry for your experience. I do understand why you were upset before the injections and after. His staff (along with Dr. Sorin) need to better explain to not only new patients but old their policies and procedures. They often implemented new ones which I get blindsided by. Most recent, when your checking in now they ask if you want an IV which totally took me off guard. First, that is private. I honestly don’t want to be announcing it to the whole waiting area!! Second, how about my option in discussing that with the doctor first. I know that one is minor, but it would have really confused me.... even more if it were only my second visit for Botox. I am not certain I have ever seen a ruder comment in my life (Sept 16th). I guess I need to see a psychiatrist also. Better yet…..I think you might see one to help you learn some empathy for others. Who says that??
