Telephone appointment was scheduled for 3:30-5:30pm, didn’t call until 9:45pm. Left a voicemail to reschedule but mailbox was full.

Please don't visit this doctor. He treated me for about a year and I couldn't get any better. Later on, he referred me to another doctor because he couldn't handle my case well.

I can not say anything positive about Dr. Soon, except that he was friendly.
During a routine bladder examination, he hurt me very badly. For three days I could not urinate without pain. After a whole week I'm still in pain and was told it is because of my age. There is no follow up and I'm unable to reach any doctor. So, much for our great health system. I would not consult with this doctor ever again.

Irresponsible, unreliable and almost impossible to reach. Staff are not helpful either. He clearly does not care about his patients.

Dr. Soon is truly the most caring doctor I have ever met. My life was saved because of this amazing human. I can't thank him enough for his professionalism and steady hands which have left me cancer-free for two years now. If it wasn't for him detecting cancer in its early stages, I wouldn't be writing this review at this very moment. I am forever indebted to him and I strongly encourage those who seek a world-class urologist to ask their doctor to recommend Dr. Soon to be your specialist. The world simply wouldn't be the same without you, Dr. Soon.

Recently I was diagnose of cancer. I had a tumor on my urethra, the size of half of an egg. It's a rare type of cancer. I was really in distress and the Pandemic might have make things complicated. I felt very supported by Dr. Soon, he is extremely nice and patience, even though sometimes my questions and my inquires could make me kinda annoying. The staff are also patience with me as I have called frequently for a phone consultation about my condition and asking about my surgery day. I am now 3 weeks post surgery, Dr. Soon was very caring and confident with what he does. He checked on me in the hospital on the weekend. I just got my indwelling catheter removed. I feel so much better now that I don't have to urinate frequently at night. I can sleep without having bad dreams nd I feel much better health wise. Dr. Soon has given me my life back. Thank you so much!

Dr. Soon does not listen to his patients’ concerns and clearly does not care about his patients. The experience I’ve had with him was nothing but terrible.

I would give Dr. Shawn Jay Soon a negative rating if possible. My grandfather went to him for a routine bladder endoscopy. He told us verbatim that it was a one minute examination, and never once did he mention the possibility of infection or any risks. The day after the procedure, my grandfather was admitted to the hospital for sepsis because of an infection caused by this procedure. He was in the hospital for a week.
