Dr. Qui summing is a very compassionate and knowledgable oncologist. She took the time to get to know me personally on my first visit. I owe everything to her. She is very professional and a genuinely caring person.

After 15 years with a rare blood disease, I've had four hematologists, and Dr. Q. is the best. She is clearly more intellectually curious and more willing to talk-through complex medical concept with me than other physicians, and she is the first to take a real interest in the relationship between my test results and my quality-of-life with regard to what is knowable, probable, and undeterminable. Most importantly, she is willing to let me choose a less-recommended treatment path because the conventional path causes unbearable symptoms. She openly advocates a role of "expert consultant" who advises you on all the risks and likelihoods, answers questions, offers recommendations, and compassionately accepts and respects my preferences. These qualities - for a physican - are rare and precious. Thanks, Dr. Q.

I was very lucky to get Dr. Q. as my doctor. I have been with her since my diagnosis in November, 2005. She is a wonderful human being and I thank God every day for her. When she walked into the room on my first appointment she put me completely at ease. She always takes the time to talk with you and once prior to receiving a protocal she even took the time to talk to my daughter on my cell phone while talking to me. Of course, my daughter had a thousand questions and Dr. Q. answered each one. Dr. Q. usually runs on-time but the few times she has run late I cannot get upset because I know that she is probably taking a little extra time with someone who is facing a crisis in their battle and some day I may be the one who need some extra time with her. She is a very humble lady and possesses the ability to convey a calming and caring presence. She is one outstanding doctor and a great human being.

Excellent oncologist. Took plenty of time with my mother and went over all options. Very compassionate and made it the point that she is the 'co-pilot' and mom is the 'pilot' of her treatment. Very knowledgeable and experienced. Can't say enough good things about her.
