When diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2021 I researched to ensure I had a skilled surgeon whom could provide me professional treatment interventions with confidence . Dr Deviana has surpassed all my expectations. He is attuned to patient concerns and goes over and above providing professional care! Whilst there is sometimes a waiting period when attending appointments…. he is worth waiting for! I am so grateful, to Dr Deviana, the nurses and staff.

Had IDC in 2017. Loved Leanna and was referred to Dr Dan by Breastscreen. I had a lumpectomy in Pindara and my ONLY complaint were the gap payments. From diagnosis to the surgery it cost me $7500 for tests, surgery theatre etc up to and including surgery. I was and am a pensioner so I found that very difficult to accept that I had paid over $450 a month to Medibank Private and still had to find $7500 for the gap payments. Unfortunately when you are a private patient all test have gap paymets and the biggest gaps are at the Womens Imaging Centre etc. I didn;t have a breast care nurse for the first year till I swapped over to the public system. I am still covered by Medibank Private but will be looking into charges BEFORE I decide IF I need to in the future. Dan was great at surgery, did a fantastic job on scar (not that is that important when I'm 70) Leanne was wonderful so bright and bubbly and sadly if I had to have a double mastectomy I couldn;t afford to pay the gap now. :(.

From the first Phone Call I was impressed. Leanne was so very helpful and informative on all occasions. I had my Breast Implants replaced as they had been in for a long time. I was worried but reassured after having a MRI, Ultrasound and Mammogram which showed no signs of Cancer. I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Daniel De Viana. He is an excellent Surgeon who I would highly recommend as my experience was the best it could have been from start to finish. Thank you.

I was diagnosed with DCIS in one breast. I now understand this is not cancer it may develop into cancer there are no exact statistics on this, I had no lumps or any signs. Dr Deviana from day one was pushing for a mastectomy. There was no discussion on periodical on going checks or other options. So, I had a Mastectomy which I now consider was totally unnecessary surgery. Now left with one breast when I could been normal.
I get the feeling he was just running a business

Excellent communication skills - have been a patient for over 3 years - saw me within a week of diagnosis, had a mastectomy, four days in Pindara and very happy with my treatment. Continuous follow up as been invaluable.
His staff are very approachable and helpful.
This doctor is first class - he may sometimes run late but you get to spend quality time with him when he gets to you and he answers all your questions and doesn't push you out the door. Can only recommend him as a caring, knowledgeable specialist.
