Been a patient over 10 yrs.....the list of incidences is to long to list....he took an oath to do no harm.....guess he forgot. Spends more time in Africa than here ...cares more about his needs than the patient....lately unable to supply blood sample for HIV what does he do?...cuts off sleep meds taken near 20 yrs which he should know can make life chaotic {extreme],,,sends people into street, black market...what have you.....also expresses disdain as PATIENTS are no longer dying and his #'s are therefore increasing.....most of his patients are near the "margins of society".....seems he;s learned nothing...Sorry Stan...this is the truth and I will utter it with my last breathe.

For a person in his position I’d expect him to be more knowledgeable and accountable for any and all actions. He does not take responsibility for anything and prefers to “pass the buck”.

Dr Houston is aware of individuals spreading HIV/AIDS in the city of Edmonton and doesn't seem to care even though he is the director of the Northern Alberta Program and it seems that Dr Houston and his staff are very proud of the fact they are doing nothing about that individual

My husband has been sick for a long time and in the last two years he has seen many doctors and almost all of them told him he was not ill - it was all in his head. Dr Houston was the first doctor in two years to do a thorough examination on my husband - none of the previous doctors could even be bothered to touch him. Dr Houston did his job properly as a doctor which is something my husband hasn't experienced from all of the other doctors he's seen in the past two years. Dr Houston has since referred my husband to a dermatologist who is very confident he will be able to diagnose and treat my husband's illness. Dr Houston's receptionist/assistant, Janet was always very pleasant and helpful and kept on top of my husband's file.

Don't waste your time with this physician, quotes dogma but will provide no proof to support his views.Seems to have no problem leaving patients to suffer, from Lyme disease.
