I have known Dr. Lobay since he was a resident and I was a child (I burnt my arm when I was 6). The surgery on my arm was not able to be completed until I was an adult (after I finished growing), but I had 2 surgeries on this arm since then (more than 20 years ago) and it looks fantastic. I had gone to see him because I had heard of a new technique at the time and while he wouldn't do that particular surgery, he took the time to explain why and offered an alternative that served the same purpose. I have just been booked for a BA and it's nice to see that he still takes the time to explain everything and answer all questions. I can't wait.

he went to give me a apron cut operation and saw all my damage with my muscles and sewed me back together he took allot of time and effort which I feel he could of not care and didn't have to do the extra mile. He is my hero. A very kind and special Doctor.I looked great after too.

I went to Dr. Lobay for a breast reduction and he found a lump which I had not detected nor did my previous tests. Dr. Lobay did my reduction and removed the lump which turned out to be cancer in the early stages... he saved my life. He was nothing but supportive throughout our conversation. His staff (nurse) goes over and above the call of duty. I did call alot for my results and she was always more than willing to check for me. Thanks Dr. Lobay

He did my breast implants. My breasts were not the same size before surgery and is most of the reason that I had them done. He put the same size implant into each breast, therefore, after surgery, my breasts are still noticably not the same size. He totally missed the mark or forgot why I was getting the surgery done. In addition, the staff was informed of my wishes as well, somehow, it still got missed. He wouldnt fit.

I had a breast reduction in Jan/'10. Although it was difficult to get into him, all told from consultation to surgery, the wait was 9 months (I was on the cancellation list which sped things up a lot). Dr. Lobay was very pleasant and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease, answering all my questions. The surgery went very well, absolutely no complications and the scars, even 3 months after the surgery, are almost non-existent. I am so thankful, and appreciative of the excellent care I received. Dr Lobay operated on my left dominant hand .He said that it would be a simple operation.Such wasn't the case as my dominant hand is now deformed and hardly able to use. Caution is all I can say!

Dr Lobay did a breast reduction for me five months ago. This was my fisrt surgery, as i am fairly young and i was kind of nervous/concerned and he was very helpful at the consult to inform me of all i needed to know beofore and following my surgery. His staff were extremely helpfull as well, his nurses were very helpful and pleasant. I only had one consult with dr Lobay and that was all i needed. I am so happy with my results, they turned out beautiful. Also may i note that i went through ab healthcare to cover my BR surgery, due to experiencing back pain etc. And even though the waiting list is a very long period, i got in to see dr Lobay within thee months of being on a cancellation list. His office was great! Thankyou Dr Lobay!

He did surgery on a growth on my dad's ear. Dad is terrified of needles and medical procedures in general, but Dr. Lobay calmed his fears and was able to do the procedure with Dad awake and calm. It's been well over 10 years and Dad still raves about him. However, when he examined my friends' six year old son, he just walked into the room, didn't greet J, just grabbed his head and turned it so he could see without telling him what J was going to do. The repair turned out beautifully, but his bedside manner that time was a bit lacking.

Dr. Lobey took care of some bad pressure sores I had. This was over 20 years ago and the grafts are still great!
