Dr. John Yoo performed two surgeries on me in relation to tall cell papillary carcinoma on my thyroid. He is an amazing doctor. His resumé speaks for itself but I want to add that my interactions with him were incredibly informative and he's a very kind, caring man. Both surgeries went perfectly with no adverse effects. I was then referred for radioactive iodine therapy and I beat cancer. I feel so blessed to have been a patient of Dr. Yoo's. The process was so quick from start to finish and I'm healing beautifully. I have been referred twice to Dr Yoo for eagles syndrome, only to be declined each time. This is something he has published on. For some reason surgeons in Ontario do not acknowledge that it can greatly affect quality of life. I have talked with many others from the province that have gone to the USA to get surgery for this condition. MDs here call it controversial, say it does not exist. Yet it does, and there are thousands of journal articles in medical literature about it. Cavities exist .. are they controversial? Oh good grief I just want a capable surgeon to help

Dr. Yoo performed surgery on me to remove anaplastic thyroid cancer. It's not a curable condition sadly, but his work was top notch. To my amazement, half of my thyroid, some lymph nodes, a four cm tumour and other cancerous cells were removed. It was a 4 hour surgery. Anyway, he did this, and I've taken one pain pill since. Maybe it's skill or good luck, but it really was a seamless surgery. I highly recommend him, as I'm convinced you're in good hands.

De. Yoo performed surgery on our son (9 years old) that includes removing a tumour that had grown right through his jaw bone, removing the jaw and replacing it with his fibula. I am in awe of the amazing work this surgeon does and his entire team. They treated us with such care, grace and dignity. The time I was diagnose with ACINIC CELL cancer I was told in Kitchener that I had 6 months to live. Dr. Yoo is my hero. He save my life. I'm still here after 22 years. I recommend Dr. Yoo 100%. If my cancer would come back only Dr. Yoo I fully trust with my life. I'm always going to call him my hero. I was lucky and bless to meet him and have a chance to live and raise my child that was only 20 years old at the time. Dr. Yoo is the best
