I was an inpatient for cancer surgery. Dr. Black and her team were amazing. If all doctors were like them the world would be a far healthier place. The nurses were so kind and gentle I was moved to tears. Cancer is scary stuff. I'm sure I was not an easy patient. Despite that the care I received was excellent. If there is one thing I would ask ..please decrease parking costs for patients and visitors. My friends drove in from out of town. For some of them parking costs were a real hardship.
Staff and doctors are rude and condescending, the triage nurse on the children’s side is nice sometimes but both on the adult side and the child side I’ve found terrible service and unbelievable wait times, be prepared to camp out there for 7-9 hours to get past the waiting room. The only time I didn’t have to wait was when I’d come in on an ambulance, so maybe try that.
Ft here is one "nurse manager " with whom does not ? Know or ??care what's going on her unit !! She takes ( obvious to me ) offence at client concerns. I reported something to her,and received no feedback, this was an important incident. I pray that I am not unfortunate enough to ever be admitted to "the Vic " again. I am confident if the ceo knew of some of the incidents,he would flip. I have nothing but good things to say about the nurses, with the very serious exception of 4 .... One named Kim from the IV team.....******* to clarify.... Not the Kim with the small children, who,I believe lives in st Thomas. I am not finished with reporting concerning some of the incidents that occured.

Amazing! Dr Vilos really listened. I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis and was out of options. Got my surgery date within 3 weeks of initial appt.

Very good results. I found Dr. Chou to be thorough, very clear in her explanations of options, and lovely to deal with.
