I felt like he was trying to find something wrong with me so they could perform a procedure on me. They double billed too.

With my last pregnancy I insisted on an early screening for Down's Syndrome, but not a chorionic villus sampling test for other chromosomal disorders, number one, because I hadn't been given enough information in time about the test and number two, because I was shocked to be pregnant again and was just slowly "absorbing" the news. Unfortunately, I ended up having a 2 pound 14 ounce baby with a mosaicism for Klinefelter's Sydrome(I think dwarfism and mental retardation too which there are hardly ANY tests for) which I had to deliver by C-section because his heart rate was starting to go down with the contractions I was starting to have. My blood pressure was getting dangerously high also. Word to the wise: go to www.marchofdimes.com and click on chromosomal disorders and carefully take into account your and the father's medical history before deciding which tests to get to determine whether your baby will have any major problems.
